Hall Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Levisham on the edge of the North York Moors. It is an ideal location for walking, visiting the coast or the many visitor attractions nearby. Levisham is a typical North York Moors village with a single street bounded by common land verges and stone cottages. The Horseshoe Inn sits at the top of the village, 200 yards across The Green from Hall Cottage.
“I had a fantastic stay at Louise's cottage and wish I could have stayed more than just one night! She was a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The cottage is 2 minutes walk from the local pub, The Horseshoe, and Louise can provide a very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area.”
This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
“I selected the Forge at Wrelton because we wanted a base for a long weekend between York and Whitby for my partners birthday. If you are looking to stay in this area (which is beautiful) you have to stay at Olwen’s place. Her communication was great and the property was easy to find. Inside it was just perfect for a couple, beautifully appointed and decorated. It was immaculately clean with everything you could want and Olwen had thought of everything from finishing touches like fresh flowers and leaving a couple of special treats as I had told her in advance we were celebrating a birthday. Don’t think twice, just book it! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you again Olwen!”

“Lovely cosy annexe, attached to owners home but with separate parking and access, in quiet rural location. Helen was a really friendly and helpful host, sharing advice on places to eat out and to explore; and accommodation was everything it promised to be, and more. After a very comfortable night, we savoured the selection of home made breads that were provided as a breakfast treat. Would happily stay again next time we are in this area.”
