I had such a memorable stay at Elvira’s, she welcomes you in the moment you arrive. It was so nice having the kitchen doors open out onto a lovely garden - the perfect spot to relax with a book. The road there is a touch challenging if you’re not confident with a scooter but I guess this adds to the charm!

Riverside Cabin near Cambugahay Falls W/kitchen

This was honestly such a beautiful place to stay. We wished we could’ve stayed longer but they were fully booked. We enjoyed our time here. It was really lovely and so quiet. The dogs around are so cute and even accompanied us to the waterfalls. Really awesome place if you want tranquility and to not feel like you’re in a town.

1BR Fully Furnished Apartment (Unit 5)

Lou was an absolutely fabulous host. She went above and beyond organising bike rental and pick up and drop off to the ferry port for the same price I would have paid just arriving. The little flat is perfect for 1-2 people who want to explore Siquijor: the beach is literally across the road, there are convenience stores and groceries in walking distance or bars and restaurants to eat out. The little kitchen has good utensils to make simple stove-top dishes which was great for me to be able to sort a bit of food or coffee instead of always eating out. My only complaint is the flat is quite noisy because of the road and there are dogs and chickens out back which can wake you up at early hours. But that's also something you find in many places in the Philippines! I cannot sing Lou's praises enough though: she's incredibly friendly and helpful and she is a 10/10 host. I was recommended a stay at the flat by a friend and I would now recommend it myself to anyone. Thanks Lou!
