The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveller. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøsa's natural surroundings. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter with a gas burner and a grill, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
