Beautiful apartment. Location was stand out. Clean sheets, comfortable beds. Easy check in. Wish we stayed an extra night. Amenities were wonderful.

Lou’s place is housed in the top level of a beautiful old bluestone building with views over the harbour. There is an excellent coffee shop across the road and it is within walking distance of many attractions. We would certainly recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay in Portland! The townhouse is easily walkable to everything in town and we loved the proximity to the Great South West Walk literally across the street. House had everything we needed to cook meals at home and room to spread out with a baby.

This property was VERY unique and absolutely fantastic. Neville and Barb were wonderful hosts - great down-to-earth country people! There are so many things about this property that are quirky and fabulous - the fact that it sits on the lake is just the start! Neville is a very intelligent, creative and humble man and he is very keen to share his talents with visitors. We came for the spreading of my Dad's ashes, so we didn't have a lot of time to spend at the farm, but we'd really love to come back again to absorb the wonderfulness of this place! Thanks so much Barb and Neville - great memories made here (including the paddle-boat "incident" ha ha ha ha)!

A great quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Right on the doorsteps of the beach which was fantastic for our family getaway.

We loved the place. The view, spaciousness and peaceful neighborhood was outstanding. It's highly recommended place and the host (Charmaine) was outstanding. Always responsive and very helpful. We would love to come back to this property.

Amazing location right next to the beach. The house was very well equipped and very clean. Communications very good. Some beautiful sunsets and very quiet on the beach, only thing was that the beach was very deep in seaweed, meaning it wasn’t really a hanging out and swimming location for us, but still great for a walk and lovely to see the water from the house. Lots of interesting stuff in the area to see.

We had a fabulous few days at this outstanding property! This place is ‘next level’ gorgeous and has everything you need for a large group to enjoy time together. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has plenty of equipment for cooking and dining, the decor is stunning. It has a relaxed beachside vibe but with lovely luxurious touches everywhere. We would recommend The Church on the Hill without hesitation.

Second stay at Robert’s place - a relaxed, spacious home with view of the water in lovely Portland

The house was large and really well set up for a family with kids. It would even suit 2 families. Enclosed back yard was great for our dog and the kids loved the games room out back with activities and a HUGE TV! Great selection of games and DVDs and both larger TVs were set up with Netflix, YouTube etc. The front yard was open to the street so perfect for easy parking of our boat and 2 cars. All in all it was perfect for our visit and we will plan to visit again.

Amazing place! So private and peaceful. Wonderful that the dogs could come too. It was the perfect place to unwind, go off-grid and spend quality time together. The stocked pantry was a lovely surprise too!

We enjoyed our two days at this wonderful place and house very much. Of course you need to know that there primarily „landscape“ all around and that the next town is 15 km away - but we enjoyed it and would recommend this place to anybody searching for a calm and peaceful place to relax.
