The gite was great, it was very clean with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The countryside location is lovely. It is conveniently located for visiting D day beaches and Bayeux and easy to get to Caen ferry port. Veronique and Thierry were very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

This was my second time staying at this charming home, and a third for a friend. We like that it is a good base for exploring that part of Normandy. It's quiet and comfortable with a nice wood stove, and we took advantage of the well equipped kitchen to have dinners at home. And Ferdinand the donkey was a plus. I liked waking up naturally, but bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to the morning light.

We were warmly welcomed by Janine. She is a very thoughtful host, who is good advice and who made our stay most enjoyable. Janine was both responsive and non-intrusive. The accommodation was very peaceful, comfortable and well-equipped. Janine's paintings very nicely embellish this small, functional space. We really enjoyed the interaction with Janine, and we thank her for her delicious gifts (fresh eggs and small pastries). We recommend this listing, we'll be happy to go back if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful spacious farmhouse for our family with kids age (9,7,5,2). Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in showers. Kitchen has everything we needed for simple meals. Was really great to have firewood provided as we used the fireplace every night of our stay in February. The house was a bit drafty even with the radiators on so I would suggest to bring some warm house clothes if you will be there in the winter as we were. The yard was beautiful and had a children’s play set that our kids loved. Our kids also loved the pig pong table. TV and internet worked great. We visited several of the Normandy beaches, Mont -Saint- Michel, and Bayuex easily by car from the location. There is nothing walking distance nearby but a small town within 10 min to find a restaurant & bakery. We would definitely recommend this home to any families visiting the area.
