Monthly Rentals in Lomba do Carro

We had a great time at Paulo's place. The apartment is located in a very quiet area, it is large and well-equipped. Paulo really welcomed us despite a very late arrival from us. Delicate touches awaited us, which is always very nice. We highly recommend this listing!

We stayed 3 nights in Carla's house and all the family had a very pleasant stay. The kids were able to play with the ball outside after our sightseeing, the bedrooms were spotless just as well as the other rooms. Paintings are clean and the kitchen and dining room is nice and spacious. Carla had some very nice attention before we arrived with some chocolate eggs for our 2 boys for Easter and a nice breakfast (jam, milk, small cakes and a bun). So I can only recommand this place. "The Spot" could not have been more perfect for our trip. Every aspect of Paula and Pedro's home was amazing. We loved exploring and hiking around Povoacao and Furnas, especially with such a neat place to go home to after. The location was 100m tops from everything we needed (restaurants, groceries, the water, etc) but mostly we just didn't want to leave the house. The rooftop pool/hot tub/poolhouse was magnificent and we spent every night relaxing, watching the sky and mountains (through the rain haha). The kitchen was gorgeous and we appreciated the welcome snacks. Most importantly, Paula and Pedro were fabulous to deal with. They were so nice and welcoming and quick to send travel suggestions. Whatever questions we had, no matter how small, they answered almost immediately and seemed genuinely interested in us having a good time. My only regret is not staying longer. What a special place.

A charming and quiet location with a very nice view from the terrace behind the house. The rooms are furnished and decorated in a personal and comfortable way, the kitchen had all we needed. We found the mattress too soft and the bed could have been a few centimeters wider, but this may be a matter of personal preferences. All in all we had a very enjoyable time here.
