A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place! The property is in beautiful, peaceful woodland surroundings, but it's also easy enough to get into Charlottesville. Kim was a very considerate host who welcomed us on arrival.

Matthew is a fabulous host who thinks of every detail. His Airbnb is cozy and meets every need. It includes a comfortable living area for great conversation, including a giant big screen tv for those who enjoy movies or sports, a large dining table that accommodates four very comfortably, a full kitchen, a desk for work or study space, and…a gym!!!! The neighborhood is quiet, pretty and great for walking. Stores, restaurants, and Poplar Forest are all 5 minutes away. This is a great place and Matthew is a kind and considerate host!

A wonderful stay! If you’re looking for peace and quiet surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place for you! I stayed after a couple of snowstorms and the scenery with the deer and other wildlife was just stunning. Eric and Elise are very friendly and are available without being intrusive. The place was clean and cozy and the bed very comfortable! I was here over a month and it definitely felt like home - especially with the resident (outdoor) kitty who was a wonderful friendly little visitor! Would love to visit again during Spring bloom! We stayed at the guest house while in Charlottesville for a wedding and had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and reached out to me a few days in advance to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They accommodated an early check in for our group which was extremely helpful. They even stocked the refridgerator with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cinnamon buns and orange juice for us! I would recommend this home for your stay!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Melody’s place was just what we needed. Great price, simple and clean, plenty of space, and great price. We planned on spending our time out and about with friends and in town and it was easy to come back to. Nice hot shower and a quiet place to crash for the night. I loved that I could afford the space to set up my toddler in his own room and I could have my own space after he went to bed. I love the location too, as there are many places super close for coffee, dinner, an afternoon smoothie, etc. Melody was very responsive and her instructions were clear.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mountaintime Magic, and really enjoy coming back to visit. The location is a lovely and peaceful slice of the valley just south of Charlottesville, and truly is a magic location. Rich is extremely welcoming and friendly, check-in is always easy and the area is cozy and comfortable. There are some wonderful amenities that go with the rental and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. The highlight is for sure the location and the host, five stars all around.

We have stayed at a lot of Airbnb properties over the years. Mountain View was GREAT!!! VERY Spacious and comfortable. The property had views that were terrific. Large open green meadow views to frame in the Peaks of Otter in the distance. Outside chairs make that view relaxing after exoring Lynchburg and surroundind towns like Bedford. Dedicated parking was convenient. Inside the property it is VERY Spacious and most comfortable. The property is perfect for a couple seeking relaxation and privacy. But because of it's Spacious Layout several couples can not feel crowded. This property and location was very accommodating and is a rare find and the hosts saw to our every need.

My stay was very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, although it is very high. The first couple of times I got up, I forgot to use the hand-built stairs at the end of the bed. Surprisingly, I landed on both feet! There are nicely placed plants and tons of interesting books, which added to the coziness of the bungalow.

My wife and I and our 12 year old Golden Retriever stayed at Helina’s place for one night. Helina was extremely pleasant and helpful, and gave us some good recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants in Lynchburg. The accommodations were very nice. Everything was extremely clean and organized. While our dog did not get to run around in the yard, he did enjoy walking around the neighborhood. We would be happy to stay here again, given the chance. Highly recommended!

We only stopped in for about 8 hours as a place to stay the night during our road trip, but it was a beautiful woodsy location and a very clean cute place inside!

I was just in town for one evening before a conference at Liberty. Matthew & Kacey’s place was a perfect spot for the evening. It’s about 20 minutes from Liberty and an easy drive. The bed and sofa are both extremely comfortable! The place is very clean and pristine.

We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect for our visit. Even our dog enjoyed it. It was very clean and has nice furnishings. My husband really enjoyed the hot tub. Colton was always available and is certainly a super host. Very nice family. If you are planning to visit the Lynchburg, Virginia area, i would highly recommend booking this unit.

I stayed at Kent’s place for the three-day hiking trip. His is superlative! A huge kitchen with Bosch Thermador cooktop, free breakfast items, plush bath towels, very quiet and beautiful surroundings, etc. So far, this is my best Airbnb stay in the U.S. Thank you very much.

Geanna’s place in the woods is wonderful! So quiet, so spacious, big bathroom, clean, great light! I crashed and felt energized here! I highly recommend it! Thank you!

Dominique’s place was as described and immaculate. Large and relaxing after a busy day out. I arrived later than planned; I texted to let her know and she made sure lights were on for my late arrival. Very close to University of Lynchburg.

The apartment was very comfortable. Micah thought of every convenience. The coffee options were great and easy to operate. Lots of nice dishes and all we needed for a comfortable stay. Linens were soft and luxurious. Lots of nice space. Neighborhood was quaint and very close to Liberty University, where we came to visit. Micah was very responsive. As she noted in the description, there may be noise from upstairs (little footsteps) because there are children in the home. If you are an early riser, not a problem at all.

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

We had an amazing stay! The space is so accommodating and perfectly set up for any group. We had 2 adults and 4 kids, 2 of whom were 6 year old boys, and we had no issue keeping them entertained. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of blankets and towels, a pack'and'play and sound machines, heated matress covers, plastic wear, tons of toys and kids movies, basketball hoop and balls, carpet billards, slack line, hammocks, squirt guns, firepit and chairs, and the creek (which is HUGE) has spots to play in sand or safely get into the water (**I would be very careful as it was moving quick, but it's not terribly deep). The host was very communacative and answered any question we sent. We had a GREAT time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 will be staying again!

This hidden gem outside of Lexington was wonderful. The surrounding area is quiet and scenic. You're deceptively close to downtown and surrounding destinations for hiking, scenic drives and solid restaurants. More importantly, the accomodations were easy to access, spotless inside and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly, responsive and accomodating to all our requests. Easily one of the best AirBnB experiences I've had. I highly recommend, and I'd stay here again.

The location was perfect for my visit to Liberty University. I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, comfortable, clean, and quiet home. Donna was the perfect host. She was very responsive and provided clear instructions. I appreciated the snacks she provided too.

My hostess was wonderful very communicative. I just want to thank her. She was amazing. I would definitely love her services again!!

Short 2 night stay, the cottage is set on a farm estate so the views of the sunrise in the AM and the night sky stars in the PM are spectacular. The unit itself is immaculate and charming on every detail. Highly recommend!
