Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality

I went with my family to visit my brother who lives in the area, it is not the most touristy, but the area is very nice, with the lakes next door and the house with glorious patio is great. The train stop is a 15-minute walk away, and the bus stop is 2 minutes. The house is a nice, very comfortable and with everything you need except for the washing machine. Søren was charming and very attentive. We are sure that when we return to Denmark we will try to stay here again.

We - a family with three teenage children, a toddler and a dog - had a great stay at Anders' house. Everything was as described. Anders was always available and very helpful and friendly. The house is well equipped, very modern and stylish. It had plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood is quiet, but you can hear the motorway (which did not disturb us). Our dog loved the garden. The train station is very close and shopping possibilities (Lidl) are within walking distance. We really enjoyed our time in Kopenhagen and would love to come back. We have stayed in this house for two summers in a row! We are a family of four, our children are ages five and seven. The kids feel very comfortable in this beautiful house. We have immensely enjoyed the use of the outdoor area, with its incredible and beautiful gardens and patio furniture everywhere. There’s also a trampoline and, berries and apple trees making it ideal for our kids. Inside the house is decorated in a traditional and  beautiful danish style. Our hosts have been incredibly generous to let the kids use their trampoline,  Legos and coloring books to keep them occupied and  happy. The house is flooded with sunlight, and cozy and comfortable in every way. We have cooked meals here, eaten outside or inside, had popcorn movie nights on the couch, and so much fun here. This house is ideally situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the town. Pernille and David were great host. Communication was quick, friendly and accurate. House is big with modern kitchen and bathroom and overall very family-friendly. Nice and big garden. Comfortable double bed for two adults. For additional adults there is an inflatable mattress.

A beautiful and very lovingly decorated house in a picturesque setting. We quickly felt at home and had a good time with great excursions to Copenhagen and the Lousiana Museum. The house is quietly located near a large park and you are on the water very quickly. By train you are in the middle of Copenhagen in a short time. Absolutely recommended! Christine and Stefan

Charming house with a beautiful garden that really feels like a family home. We didn’t have a car and the train station and grocery store is a 15-minute walk from the house, but the trains run very smoothly to the city. And the surroundings are beautiful and the nearby museum Ordrupsgaarden is fantastic!

We stayed 4 adults and a baby in Anders beautiful and cozy house. We had ample room for family dinner and small private breathholes. And the neighborhood was very accommodating. The house is located with lots of nature, beach and shopping opportunities nearby. Easy access to major highway, making it easy to take a day trip to Copenhagen or other sights in North Zealand. We are happy to recommend this home to others and hope to be able to come back again. Esben

Vibeke's house was bright, cozy , and comfortable. It's just steps away from a national park, but also conveniently close to transportation to either Lyngby or Copenhagen. Vibeke kindly left us some party gifts for New Years Eve, and was a very responsive host! Two thumbs up.

We stayed at Theis several times and as always our last stay went very well. Theis is a very nice host, easily available if needed. The apartment is super well located ( shop, train station nearby...)

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is simply fantastic and we immediately felt at home. Stéphane was a great host, always available and always had friendly tips ready for us. We will definitely visit again!

Marianne is a gracious host. She gave us fresh flowers and apples from the garden. The large sitting room is filled with sunshine in the mornings perfect with a cup of coffee. The view of the water and sky is never tiresome. We rented bikes and explored the city; highly recommended. The cafe across the street has great croissants. There’s groceries by the Orderup train station, a 12 minute walk. The 23 bus is in front of the house. Up the street is a great beach where you can grab a drink. A peaceful beach location. Cozy apartment with large garden. The location was great. Very great area with lots of old great brick villas. Bus stop right nearby, and easy to get around with public transportation. More restaurants and cafes around the corner. Nice beaches and playgrounds in walking distance from the apartment. We had a great time.

A relaxing stay in a Dicte’s lovely condo. Beautiful setting near the beach, marina, and rose garden. Convenient to bus and train for shopping, museums, and central Copenhagen.

We stayed as a family for a two night road-trip stopover in Copenhagen. This location was great for us. Parking was easy and free and very close to the city center. Kristine’s place was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. 👍

Lovely home in Charlottenlund that is close to the train station and cozy town center. Plenty of space for us to relax, including two balconies to enjoy some fresh air. Hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Stay for Three Colleagues We were three colleagues sharing this apartment for two weeks, and it worked perfectly for our stay. It was a comfortable and well-equipped space to come back to in the evenings. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The host was responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

We would highly recommend staying at Mikkel’s home. It was immaculately presented, a clean and cozy space to relax after a day of adventure. It is great for families and really convenient to metro, convenience stores, restaurants and freeways, with an easy quick drive into Copenhagen CBD if you want. This home had everything we needed and more. We had an awesome stay and it made our holiday one to remember. The house is situated in a lovely safe area and we enjoyed easy walking, running and trips to the lake for fun activities. The home was great value for money and we hope to stay there again in the future.

This is the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! It is an absolutely incredible house with a stunning garden. The technology built into the house really makes this one very special and the view is so beautiful. Even though we were in a street close to other houses we felt completely secluded which was very peaceful. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful home in a very nice residential area, located within walking distance of the beach, forest, and the train into Copenhagen! We had a lovely time sharing the home with 8 guests. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect for large families.

We had a great stay at Marie's house. The location was perfect mtp. distance to nature and beach, as well as public transport to Copenhagen. The house was great, clean and tidy, with stylish decor and large space, and had everything we needed. Marie is a brilliant host who is friendly, easy to communicate with, available and helpful. In addition, she gave us very good tips about things to do in the immediate area. We highly recommend Marie and her places and would no doubt visit again.

We rented Signe's home for the second time when we were very satisfied on our first visit. The house is perfect for families with children, is in a quiet area with short distance to the beach and playgrounds, as well as grocery stores. In addition, the house is well equipped for families with toys for children and large private garden. Signe always responds quickly and is very helpful. Highly recommend Signe as a landlord and her home.

I rented this house for a three-generation family get-together. It was perfect and very kid-friendly. The kids (will be 6 and 10 in the summer) had loads of toys to play with, and enjoyed the trampoline in the yard. We also played some of the games (a huge collection in the basement) with our 10 year old grandson. The grandparents (I and my spouse) enjoyed the privacy of our own bathroom and space in the basement level, which, from part of it does not feel like a basement at all, because it opens to a deck and the yard. My daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the upstairs, and they and the kids had use of the large upstairs bathroom as well as a half bath on the ground level. Playroom, living room, computer desks, you name it - everything a family could want in a house and more. It is close to a train stop, a couple of bus stops, and a nice walk into Lyngby, which is quite nice. It is a healthy walk to several supermarkets. The hosts are responsive, welcoming, and dealt with any hiccup fast
