Really lovely house in a beautiful location, can imagine a bit scary at high tide with strong easterly winds! Facilities great, pots and pans of decent quality and beds comfortable. Pool table good quality and there is a drinks fridge at the bar - we were worried there wouldn’t be! Debra a great and communicative host and helped us out in a difficult situation which made our last couple of days less worrying. Thank you very much! Sam and family

The house has fantastic views, was spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed. A great location. Rosemary was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time exploring the islands as well as having the opportunity to relax at the house.

We had a fantastic stay at Paco’s place. The cabin is lovely, has a rustic feel but with the mod cons people like for a break. It was all very clean and extremely cosy. The hot tub was fantastic and the grounds the cabin is on are really nice.

Only issue we had was, that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be returning and staying for much longer!! The cabin was warm, clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, hot tub was nice and hot! View was outstanding! We also loved how private it was. One of our favourite places we have stopped this year!

If you’re reading this, trying to decide whether to book this place….this is your sign!!! DO IT! This cottage (massive cottage with high ceilings) is in the most incredible location if you love privacy, peace, incredible views, huge stunning sunsets, wildlife. Honestly perfect. The view from the hot tub can’t be beaten and you can’t SEE another property from the house in any direction. The house has been beautifully restored and has everything you could need. We will 1 million percent return here when we can and wish we’d had time to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s cottage. The welcome package was so thoughtful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The view from the cottage is stunning, and the walk to the beach idyllic. Would wholly recommend for a stay where you are looking to disconnect! Fires at night were cozy, and reading outside during the day. Thanks again for everything!

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner, just before Christmas as we were visiting family in Lossiemouth. Lindsay was super helpful and communicative as soon as we booked. The caravan was perfect, bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. It was a wet windy cold weekend but once the heating was on, the caravan was lovely and warm. Gorgeous location right on the beach. We will definitely look at staying again (hopefully in the warmer weather!) so we can enjoy the location a bit more. Overall a perfect stay.

What can we say, home from home. Beautiful and cozy. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Ideal for our little family. So peaceful and quiet. Little to no internet so kids had no option but to communicate which was lovely. Had 1 little problem with the heating which was sorted within seconds. Can’t fault this place at all. The only problem we had was it didn’t last long enough. We’ve historically stayed in caravans but this has changed our mind for the future. Thank you Simon and Lyndsey.

What a lovely stay we had at Hazel's house! It was spotlessly clean, with quality furnishings and so well equipped with everything one could hope to need for a very comfortable stay. Hazel was very responsive to queries and happy to help. Set in a quiet residential location which was around 15-20 mins uphill walk from town, the house has lovely views across Stromness and beyond. There is a private garden adjacent to the house that we enjoyed sitting in, and loads of space for car parking. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hazel's again and would recommend to anyone who values comfort and cleanliness.
