A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.
“What a wonderful B&B this is: a complete house with all the trimmings in a former chicken coop, in a beautiful garden, with beautiful chickens and a rooster! The owners are super welcoming and friendly, we immediately felt at home. We were surprised by the complete interior, everything was thought :) There were all kinds of extras in the kitchen, such as oil, vinegar, coffee, mayonnaise, milk, juice. The fresh eggs were delicious! There was a milk frother, nice shower cream, even a night light, flashlight and nail scissors, ironing board! There was central heating, towel heating + an extra 'fireplace'! Good wifi and a television. We enjoyed the terrace, the view of the garden and the chickens. The village is small and beautifully preserved, you imagine yourself in a different time. There is a bakery and a supermarket in a village nearby. You can take walks or bike rides in the area. We would love to come back here!”
Relaxed overnight in a wonderful environment by the sea, then you've come to the right place. At 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and shopping center of Monster. You have a private room, private toilet and use of bathroom, shower / bath. You can relax in the cozy garden and there is free WIFI. In your room you will find an information folder with great tips for the area, beach tents, restaurants and places of interest with websites and telephone numbers.
“We felt very comfortable with Ellen and Mario and were welcomed very friendly. The room is wonderfully quiet and cozy, at night you can hear the sound of the sea. The beach is beautiful too. We got a great breakfast in the morning and were able to relax wonderfully.”
Yes the room is small, but it is well distributed for your ultimate convenience. The house is clean and quiet, ideal for tourists, students and professionals alike. Lush natural surroundings and views, located within walking distance to dunes and beach.
“Hoek van Holland is a relax beach town that will soon have a metro station directly connecting it to Rotterdam. I chose this place to wind down, being right next to the sea, beautiful dunes and even a bit of forest. The latter will be the view from your window in Harry's Small Is The New Black. And yes it is small, but I never felt like I needed more space, since the room still offers you all you need. The bed might be a bit hard to reach for some, but the high-quality mattress sure makes up for it! I stayed for a little under two weeks in Hoek van Holland, but it wasn't long enough. There are so many amazing places nearby like Delft, Den Haag, Rotterdam (and its massive Port), Leiden, Gouda, Amsterdam, etc. I've made multiple day trips to all of them, and still ran out of time. But the most remarkable aspect of this accommodation might actually be its host. Harry will take very good care of you, and will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest. One evening he even offered to cook a meal, which was absolutely delicious, after which many interesting conversations followed. Overall, I believe the value for money will be pretty hard to beat when you're looking for a tranquil gateway to the diverse richness this part of The Netherlands has to offer.”
