Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Macclesfield

We were visiting family nearby and were so pleased with this home. It was quirky and full of character. The secure garden was perfect and everything was so neat and proper. It had excellent facilities and the little touches like coffee, tea and milk were perfect. The fact that dogs are allowed was very welcoming and kind. The only thing was the main road was quite loud but just bring some ear plugs and you’ll be absolutely fine. It’s worth it for this property which has everything you could need in a very beautiful village. We would 100% return if we came back to the area.

We had the best, most relaxing stay here! It was easy to find, parking spot was very easy to find too. Keys were easily accessible and we were given very clear instructions. The property was lovely and clean, it had everything there that we could possibly have needed. The location was lovely, with everything close by that you could possibly need. Even though the property is on the roundabout, it was still quiet and private. The house is just perfect, we felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The bed is super comfortable and we both had the best sleep. The shower is incredible!! Love that it’s dog friendly too, and our pup had the best time. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better, we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for a perfect stay ♥️

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Amazing place, great location near some lovely walks and pubs. Hot tub was brilliant and kids managed to swim in river !

We had a Lovely stay, i thought it could of been a Boutique hotel the place was lovely, the decor was delightful, the mix of modern and vintage i loved, the outdoor space for the dog was great, we couldnt fault this house, i loved the open space in the kitchen diner, the location was great , The Loaf bakery round the corner was amazing, and we didnt have to travel far to get to anywhere like matlock.and the tramway round the corner, we will be staying again, Thank you for a Lovely stay.

Emma is a great host she dealt with an issue early on extremely quickly and professionally, the cottage is a wonderful place to chill and relax with breathtaking views which all of the family enjoyed to look at, my daughter coming home said she wants to come back again which I’m sure we will!

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Marianne really is the perfect host! We received a warm welcome on arrival plus we also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Minny, Macy & Flee! The accommodation itself is very cosy & styled beautifully. We were very comfortable here & felt instantly at home. The kitchen is well equipped but with so many pubs/tearooms etc just a short walk away, we dined out every single evening! Spring is a particularly wonderful time to visit. Glorious pink blossom trees, an abundance of bright sunny yellow daffodils & the cutest little lambs prancing around! This really is the perfect base to explore Castleton & we would love to stay again when we are next visiting the Peak District. Thank you Marianne! 💛✨

Perfect for our weekend. The accommodation was perfect, in fact we were taken back with how there cupboards were full off useful things…. Condiments, sauces, toiletries and that’s just a few I can mention. Appreciated the milk, bread, butter, nice gesture and makes a difference to some places who don’t offer that. Host also helped us out when our car broke down whilst we were there and went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. Overall the place was lovely, more than I actually expected, clean, tidy and perfect. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Wigan. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly. We really liked the place! It was a perfect base for our hikes. Clean, warm and with a well equipped kitchen. A place where we could happily flop on the sofa after a long day out. Many thanks to Charlotte and Stuart!
