Vacation rentals with a firepit in Madison County

The house was absolutely beautiful. The morning views from the deck are unbeatable in that area. One of my favorite features of the house is the deep soaking tub. Definitely bring your favorite bath bombs and bubbles if you enjoy a nice soak! I cooked most of my meals and the house had all utensils and cookware I needed. Several people have commented about the steep driveway. I had an SUV, so the steep switch back up the hill wasn't an issue for me, but could be daunting for those with a low car. There are several great coffee shops and restaurants in town that are worth the trip in during your stay. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway and I'd definitely return in a heartbeat.

Daniel's home was the ideal spot for my family to explore Asheville and the mountains nearby. We walked in to Weaverville a couple of times to explore the shops, eat and have a drink at one of several great breweries. The house itself was big enough to accommodate us with plenty of space for our boys to hang out by themselves and for everyone to enjoy a meal looking toward the mountains. The hot tub was especially nice after long days of hiking and adventuring. Everything was clean, functional and tasteful. It's nicely baby-proofed if you have toddlers. Daniel and his home were great in every aspect and we'll definitely be making a return trip to this house!

Tonya’s place had everything we could have needed. The bed was comfy, the layout spacious —we felt right at home. The backyard was very peaceful and beautiful as well. I would definitely book again.

This place is INCREDIBLE! Between busy work and grad school schedules, it can often be difficult for my husband and I to find time to relax and unwind. As soon as we stumbled across Ken's place though, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for! The quiet and secluded place created the perfect atmosphere for a rejuvenating weekend getaway. We were easily able to turn our phones off, and tune into the nature surrounding us on every side. We slept to the sounds of the waterfalls at night and sat outside to soak in the sunshine and beautiful scenery during the day. This property was truly one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Ken!!

Great little stay. We only stayed for one night as a stop before heading home. It was private and spacious for two people, dog, and our small son. The place was clean and the sauna was very relaxing. The neighborhood is very, very quiet. When sitting outside all we could hear were the birds and the creek nearby. There is not a lot in the town as it is small and still recovering from the hurricane. However, we found great places to eat about 25-30 min away in Asheville.

Apple cabinet is the best place to stay in Western North Carolina!

We were in the area for a funeral, Daniel was quick to approve our reservations. His welcome packet was amazing! Everything was laid out and the directions and requirements were clear and precise. Daniel was also quick to respond to any questions that we had. I hope to come back for a longer stay in the future to enjoy the amenities in the area. We absolutely enjoyed the beauty of the creek on the back of the property! My mom enjoyed a little peace and quiet in the hammock, just what the doctor ordered! Beds are so comfortable, I think I’m going to have to order some of the sheets they use, I fell in love with them.

We travel several times a year and are frequent airbnb guests—so the bar is high. This property is definitely one of our favorite rentals and we look forward to a return visit. We enjoyed the peaceful seclusion back in the woods and the soothing contemporary minimalist decor and the expansive kitchen. We roasted marshmallows over the firepit as we watched the sunset. Best of all, our two elderly small dogs were welcome at this property. Downtown Asheville is a mere 20 minute drive away. Weaverville is even closer for groceries and takeout

My son and I decided to take a trip to North Carolina for hiking and help bring revenue to the area after the hurricanes. The Airbnb was spotless. Adorable decorated beds were super comfortable. The shower had perfect pressure. The views were breathtaking. The hiking was astonishing. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This is the third time, if I remember correctly, that I’ve stayed at Ed’s retreat, and it is as serene as ever. It’s a beautiful and easy-to-find and -use place after long work days. The drive out into the countryside is always relaxing, and getting to sit on the private screen porch for hours in the evening is my favorite thing. This Airbnb is very spacious and the furniture (bed and sofa especially) is incredibly comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of thought into this place. I love coming back here whenever I’m in town.

Beautiful! Peaceful! Calming! We loved staying there! Nature and a special stillness was felt throughout. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Time here allowed us to reconnect as well as self-reflect. We are planning to go back really soon!

Perfect place to stay with a baby. Gabrielle offered a pack n play crib, a baby bathtub, towels, books, and toys - all of this made travel to Weaverville so much easier. Great home!

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for my daughters, acrobatics and tumbling meet at Mars Hill University . We loved this little home away from home. It was cozy and so comfortable and very close to the campus. Candace was extremely responsive and very flexible with us with our checkout times I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice, quiet, clean apartment that met all of our needs! I felt safe and loved how pretty the area was. I would highly recommend Luciene's place and hope to stay there again!

Just as described. Spacious and private. Bed was very comfortable. Convenient to Asheville and, as a bonus, we found a hidden gem in historic Waynesville. All in all definitely one of our favorites in the Asheville region. Also…the area has come a long way since the hurricane. Most roads and venues are open and very happy to welcome visitors.

We absolutely loved Camp Happy Mundo! It was such a peaceful and the cabin was really cozy. We would definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway and will keep it in mind for the future.

My wife and I stayed for four nights, we loved every second. So peaceful and the view was beautiful. The cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The road up was not bad at all. We defiantly want to come back and stay again. Nice and close to Asheville and lots of fun things to do close by. I would defiantly recommend checking this place out

Funky fun cabin with beautiful views and we loved listening to the sounds of the forest and river. The swing on the screened-in porch and the lovely fire pit were fantastic for making memories during our stay as a family. The cabin was lovely and well appointed. Highly recommend!!

This stay was absolutely perfect. The home was beautifully decorated - thoughtfully designed with so much charm and style, I honestly wish the hosts could come decorate my future home! Every little detail made the space feel welcoming and cozy. One of the best parts was the little creek running just in front of the house, sitting back and relaxing to the calming sound of the water. It added such a peaceful touch to the whole experience. The hot tub was also a great bonus - clean, relaxing, and perfectly placed for unwinding at the end of the day. Truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful scenery…so quiet and peaceful. It’s very easy to walk across the street to get to the French Broad.

This was the most charming home in the most beautiful location. It was a home away from home. It was sparkling clean and met all of our needs. I would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommend! Though the area is recovering from the recent hurricane damage, we had a pleasant stay and would come back.
