Family-friendly vacation rentals in Masserberg

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

We stayed in the apartment for a short stay and found it very nice. The area is of course great, the apartment is equipped with everything you might need and Claudia welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything. We were definitely not here for the last time and can highly recommend staying here. The apartment is very well maintained and nothing was missing. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor area is very nicely designed for cozy hours or evenings outside. Just great. Next time we will also be a guest here with our slightly older dog. Both the area and the space are really ideal if you want to travel with your four-legged friend.

We had a lovely and relaxing holiday in the apartment of Olaf and Nicole. Both welcomed us very warmly. The apartment is quiet and close to different excursion destinations. If you like hiking, this is the place to be, because the forest begins almost on the doorstep and thus also several hiking trails. The apartment is lovingly furnished, has a great garden and has everything you need. There were two of us traveling with a dog and would come back any time.

Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

We were totally delighted with the accommodation! The location is great - beautiful in the countryside and completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and her family were very friendly, and helpful. The terrace is completely fenced, so we were able to park our dog there well. The occasional barking was also friendly by the hosts. And then the sauna and the hot pot - there are no wishes left unfulfilled!

We were on a bike trip for a night at Margot's place. Not only did she have space to store two bicycles and a children's trailer, there was also a baby travel cot available. Margot and the whole family we met the next morning was super nice and helpful, also extremely child-friendly.

A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended for longer stays. We didn't miss anything as a family with a 6-year-old child. Many details give the basement living space its individual charm. Within walking distance you can explore Weimar's old town and there is a lot to do. Thank you for the stay!

We were looking for something special for our vacation and that is exactly what we found in the Falkennest. A cozy accommodation which is mainly heated with a small fireplace. In addition, a nice quiet area, just great for relaxing. We'd love to go back again.

The contact with the hostess was extremely friendly, Petra was very accommodating and flexible on site. The small apartment was furnished and prepared with a lot of effort. A parking space for the guests is available right in front of the property. By the way, the duvets were great, at least we liked them and we slept well in them. It was just right for our short stay.

We felt very comfortable. Malcolm is very helpful and always available if there is a problem. The location of the apartment is great. We were able to walk to everything. Whether hiking in nature or downtown to the sights. The car could be stopped. Shopping right outside the door. The "sweet corner" that Malcolm recommended to us is megalecker. Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always accessible for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly over the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

Thank you for the hospitality and the great apartment! We felt very comfortable. Very family friendly, the stairs upstairs can be "closed" that the children can't just descend. We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Mario and Silke are very nice people and always helpful. The house is very cozily furnished, nothing is missing and there are lovingly made details everywhere. The sunsets on the veranda were a dream. Our kids had a lot of fun in the great pool. There is so much to do with and without children in the area that we only managed a fraction. Very good was the fairy world and the fairy cave in Saalburg and the climbing forest and the summer toboggan run in Saale.

My grandparents enjoyed their stay here very much! They felt comfortable from the start as the place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Christine was extremely friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The location was perfect for them. They still rave about the beautiful days there and were completely satisfied.
