This is a great cottage in the midst of an almost mystical and cinematic hamlet, a few minutes away from a bigger village, Vitigudino. It’s comfy, clean, and a nice little haven away from civilization - but not too far away. It’s the artistry, craftsmanship, and meticulous details of the work that Olmo, his father Carlos, and his family have put into Casa Caenia that makes it so charming and homey. The tour of this ‘almost’ ancient place, the bucolic walks, and recommendations in nearby towns made this trip to Traguntia a restful and meaningful one. I look forward to making a movie here one day.

It was great. Mr. João and his wife, Clara, are attentive, cared for and surprised us with a table of snacks upon arrival and more during the stay. The place is quiet and the house cozy. We were during the holidays of the end of the year, winter in Portugal, and inside it was perfect. Great home for two couples and couple with up to 2 small children. Bruçó is in the middle of a national park. We went to Spain that is very close, also Bragança and we walked by trila. I like places halfway to various points and Bruçó answered. It was worth a lot to us.

Very nice house in the rural area of Trás-os-Montes, very quite surroundings and great views. Luisa provided great self check-in instructions. The check-out time policy was also more that generous. Things to be prepared for: 1. Don't expect it to get too warm inside in the winter months. The house does nave a heating system powered by the wood stove, but still it is a bit chilly, especially in the morning as the wood burns through during the night. 2. The house is somewhat overcrowded with furniture and decoration. 3. There is a prison building right at the end of the street. This is not a bad thing and does not cause any trouble. Just don't be surprised by the bright lights if arriving at dark.
