Absolutely phenomenal! My family and I loved it so much and will highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an Airbnb in the Matagorda area.

Second Summer to stay at Wave on Wave! The pool and fishing dock are just what we are always excited about! Fishing was exceptionally well this year. Fast and friendly communication was given when needed. We cannot wait to return!

Las Palmas was very spacious and had an abundance of beds to accommodate our large family. We had a couple of hiccups, but Amanda was always very responsive and helpful. This was a great learning experience for me as I continue to plan our family reunion each year. It was also a convenient drive to the beach! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. The backyard was our favorite highlight of the trip.

We had a great weekend stay! The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner was quick to respond to messages. Our dogs had an amazing time running around the property and even chasing deer! The pool was perfect, and the view from the patio overlooking the river was beautiful—we even saw a white cow across the water. The bed was very comfortable, and the sound system was nice, though a bit technical to set up. Pool cleaners came by one morning, did a quick job, and left. One thing to note: there were some wasps and nests around the house, but we found a spray can and handled it. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay—and our dogs had a blast!

Salty Dog was responsive to any and all questions and concerns that we had even before our arrival. Place was neat and clean, and we had a great time as a family by the pool making memories. There are lots of pool toys in the garage to choose from. Highly recommended, great location, and we will be back again.

The house was very cute. Close to the beach entry point. Pool was cold due to a front rolling in, but once the sun came out it was great. Did some fishing at 3-mile and the neighbors lake. Overall a fun trip. Recommend this home and others in the neighbors.

Exactly as described, peaceful surroundings, everything we were looking for. Perfect location for unplugging from daily life, and enjoying time with family. Pictures did not do it justice. Definitely recommend to anyone looking or some family time in a peaceful private environment.

Jackie and her other hostesses are always ready and able to help with any problem that may arise. They are very responsive and very nice ladies. They take good care of the home.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is in a peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful view of a ranch across the street. The house is well maintained with nice furnishings and beds. The kitchen and ice box was stocked with coffee, drinks and even ice cream. Karen was very responsive and helpful to our needs.

Alejandras place was the perfect place for us to spend over a month while in town for work. Great location,clean house, and fully stocked with everything we needed. She was very helpful and responsive and even helped us out within minutes when we'd managed to lock ourselves out of the house. This will be our go to abnb anytime we are back in town.

The house was nice and clean. WiFi worked and kitchen was a good size to move around and cook. The fishing dock was great and neighbors were friendly. Good place to stay if you are want to enjoy a family fishing trip.

My boyfriend and I along with our 7 year old sons had amazing time here! We wanted a peaceful spot to fish and this provided just that! We caught a lot of fish & crab. Every cast we caught fish or crab. It was so exciting! Our boys loved it! The house was clean & equipped with everything we needed. The private pier was big, lit up & fully equipped. Michell was very accommodating, attentive and answered any and all questions right away. Upon arriving, there is a binder located by the tv that has you covered with all the answers to any questions you might have. It was an added little touch that you don’t see often in rentals. Neighbors were nice & neighborly. We plan to return in the future! This will always be where we stay when visiting Sargent. It was such a pleasant stay we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for such a wonderful place to make memories with our kiddos!

The place was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. It was incredibly cozy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was definitely the pier and the fishing lights, which were nothing short of A++. We spent hours fishing all along the pier and were thrilled to catch some big fish at the end! The location is wonderfully secluded, making it the perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It felt much more private than staying in Corpus or Galveston, which was a refreshing change. If you’re seeking a serene getaway with amazing fishing potential, this is definitely the place for you! Plus, Port Lavaca is only a quick 30-minute drive away if you’re in the mood for more dining options. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

Brought my family of 4 and two dogs here. Had a great time with a beautiful view and awesome fishing spot. Caught croaker, catfish, blue crabs and a black drum. House is very cute with nice quiet neighbors on both sides. Owner is very friendly and responsive but we didn’t need anything as she explained everything clearly in the beginning.

Peaceful getaway! We absolutely love this place and will continue to come back every year! The fishing never disappoints! Family loves this place, and the kids ask to come every year! Dawn is an amazing host!!!!

Matagorda beach is my new favorite Texas beach! We were there for spring break and there were few people on the beach. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

This tiny house is a favorite of mine…I just love the water! I was fortunate the weather was nice most of the time so I could still sit outside a lot in January. I feel cozy here and I will be back as soon as I can fit it in. Thanks for sharing your home.

Out of all the houses my family has rented for Christmas and New Year this is the best when the A/C went out upstairs Mr Austin was right on it I do have a suggestion please don’t take it negative the carpet in the front room is curled up on a corner we kept tripping over it so we had to place couch footrest over it so somebody wouldn’t trip and spill a drink on that beautiful white couch also o think non skid pad would be nice on the steps especially when wet and little lights on the steps at night the house and Amanda and Austi were great hope you have it next year have a great New Year God Blesd

Really enjoyed the stay. Being so close to both the ICW and the gulf was ideal for me as a fishing person!

Can’t wait to come back! Have been telling all our friends about this place. Highly recommend. Host has very clear, proactive communication, which was extremely appreciated! They clearly take this rental seriously and want the absolute best for their guests.
