Vacation rentals with breakfast in Matamata-Piako District

We absolutely loved our stay at your place! It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a stress-free visit. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like having all the basic amenities provided and essentials for breakfast - it really made us feel at home. The space was well-maintained and very welcoming, which made it the perfect base for our trip. Communication was smooth and check-in was easy, adding to the overall great experience. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful stay - we would highly recommend your place to anyone and would be delighted to stay again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Wendy's place. It is beautifully furnished and spacious. Facilities are all great and the breakfast was an extra bonus. Great communication and flexibility.

Briony was a very welcoming host, she left us fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk. Her partner (apologies I have forgotten his name) provided tools to tighten up the wing mirror on my bike. The property is loverly and really conveniently placed if you are planning on visiting the Hobbiton movie set.

Absolutely loved staying at starlight Valley. Used it as a base for our wedding prep and family gathering before and after the event. Was greeted with roses of 2 varieties and a lovely card on entry into the accommodation. Left to get on with what we needed to do but I could've just used it as a peaceful getaway as well. Make sure to come when the strawberries are ripening as they were ginormous. Close enough to town to nip in and get supplies before returning to relaxing.

Dee's place was an awesome AirBnB, probably the best one I've experienced in New Zealand. It had pretty much everything a traveler could want, from cornflakes to a trampoline. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless and well-heated. Dee also put in a lot of effort into creating a digital guidebook so guests can get any information about the house/area easily. 10/10!!

Charlie's place was our basecamp for exploring Hobbiton and Rotorua. It was a fantastic stay since the home felt completely brand new and pristine. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms were sparkling clean, the living room and dining room were spacious and allowed us to socialize as a family of four adults. So many happy family memories created here ... could not be more satisfied. Thank you Charlie for hosting us!

Lovely, caring hosts, who very kindly left us some breakfast, homemade lemonade and cookies! Great location for a family with kids, with a small, beautiful, self-contained garden a 2min walk to a park with a playground. Supermarket cafe and pub a 10-min walk away.

Such a lovely stay. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We enjoyed Michael's archery session and Mia's amazing breakfast. The freshly baked bread was fabulous. And the lovely dog Hunter showed me around their beautiful garden!! We had a great time and it is actually the most pleasant accommodation we have ever stayed at in NZ.

I feel so lucky, that I found this place. Great and cozy accommodation, excellent breakfast, beautiful garden and an unforgettable lesson in archery. The best choice in Matamata for sure! ❤️

The place is awesome and perfect if you like a very quiet and close to nature ambiance. The host was very lovely too and accommodating with their adorable dog. They even prepared complimentary foods for the guests. All in all we highly recommend this place.👌

Chris & Jenny’s home was immaculate, warm and very homely. Chris communicated throughout the entire process, checking in with me & keeping me notified of what to expect closer to our stay. Prior to arrival he gave detailed instructions on how to get to the property leaving his number just incase. Chris was friendly and polite, warm and helpful. On arrival we were welcomed with a token of their appreciation in the form of a delicious jam & marmalade- to which I had on toast the following morning. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at their place. They are wonderful hosts, & should I need accomodation in the area, I would happily return.

Gavin and Petra were extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. They made us feel very comfortable at their home, which is beautiful, clean and tidy. The home grown fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee and homemade museli for breakfast was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely house, lovely cats, lovely couple.

We didn’t actually get to stay - long story - but Robyn was extremely helpful in sorting our situation and I am sure is a wonderful host. We look forward to enjoying her accommodation another time!

Linda’s place was the perfect quiet resting place while I was in town for a friend’s wedding. The cabin had plenty of space for me, was clean, and I had a peaceful afternoon getting work done while sitting out in the porch. Would 100% book again if I were back in town. Thanks Linda!

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the seperate guest entrance. The continental breakfast was more than sufficent with a nice selection of homemade spreads and freshly baked bread. We were going to a wedding and required an iron which Pauline happily supplied along with a mircowave to heat an evening meal. Lovely, big bathroom with great shower and the bed was super comfy. Loved the eHaus concept. We will be staying again when we go to the next family event in the area.

Comfy spot with great views out the back and friendly alpaca. It was lovely to sit on the verandah and have a quiet breakfast. We felt really relaxed in our cool little pine home for a night.

Judith’s home is unique in its architecture in a lovely, safe, friendly, and convenient neighborhood. I didn’t use my car at all during my 3 day stay, choosing instead to walk to a great Saturday Farmers Market,; a good choice of restaurants and shops; scenic hiking/walking options. The nearby iSite provides many brochures related to the history of Cambridge, and I found the town to be very pleasant and friendly! Judith has many years’ experience hosting, and she is the Ultimate Hostess, wanting to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible! I highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay for me in Cambridge while my son competed in a sports tournament. Belinda was welcoming and had everything sorted for me. The room and facilities were top notch. Thanks for having me.
