Monthly Rentals in Mavrinci

We stayed 5 days in this beautiful apartment on the Istrian coast. The view and decor of the apartment were exactly as beautiful as in the pictures. Unfortunately we were there in March, so the pool wasn't filled yet and it was still too cold to take a dip. However, we could sit in the sun on the roof terrace. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, the coast is within walking distance (if you can walk a bit) and by car there are many beautiful places within driving distance. We really found the kitchen and all the items to be used to be a plus, so we could also cook for a few days and eat relaxed in the apartment.

We stayed at Matthias’ place for over two months, and honestly, it was the best experience I’ve ever had with any host – hands down! Matthias is an incredible person and a truly amazing host. From day one, he made us feel completely at home. He provided us with all the essential information we needed, gave us a winter pass for free museum visits (which was a game-changer!). His local insights and warm personality made our stay unforgettable. I genuinely hope we can stay friends in the future – Matthias is that kind of person you want to keep in your life. The apartment itself? Absolute perfection. It’s located at one of the highest points in Rijeka, which means you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the port. Every morning felt like waking up in a postcard – seriously, the view alone is worth the stay! But it’s not just about the view or the location – it’s the feeling of being welcome

The place was great! Check-in was simple and straightforward. The apartment was clean and you felt right at home. Although it is a bit outside and higher, you could reach everything superbly, whether on foot, by bus or by car. We walked about 40/45 minutes to the city. By bus back it was just under 10 minutes. Communication with the two was also great! We would definitely come back!
