Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts of every kind. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

The cabin is 12’X18’. Rustic, artsy, comfortable: set on a beautiful wooded acreage near a stream, this private two-bedroom cabin and studio is located mid-island, just a 10-minute walk to the lake or 5-minute drive to the beach. Simple breakfast items contained in fridge. Two queen beds, sofa-bed, microwave, bathroom with shower, separate toilet room and large deck/patio with BBQ, overlooking the forest. AMAZING WATERVIEW CABIN! This is the place to come during Coronavirus! It’s clean, sanitized with antibacterial wipes, private, and you can prepare your own meals. While on the ferry you can stay in your car for protection. Also, I’ve gone to a self check in policy for our protection, and provide an annotated map with directions to my favorite places and hikes.
