Cottage vacation rentals in Mayne Island

This was our second time staying at Leah’s and it was just as wonderful as we remembered—if not better! We absolutely loved our time, especially spending hours on the dock and paddle boarding. The cabin is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and so well stocked with everything we needed. Leah is a fantastic host, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! We were very pleased with everything about this rental. The house was decorated in good taste and met all of our needs. Our hosts made sure to accommodate our sensitivity to scents and cleaning products, which we were grateful for!

Our stay at Ravenwood Guest House was nothing short of wonderful! Deb and Hugh greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour, explaining the layout of the house and how the hot tub operates. The guest house is the best equipped home away from home we have encountered! From morning coffee to children’s bath toys, everything is here! The premises is clean and perfectly maintained, and is a short walk to beautiful Westwood Lake, a treasured Nanaimo attraction. Overall, a wonderful stay. We look forward to our next visit!

The North Beach Inn was the perfect stay for our trip to Orcas Island. Waking up to the beach in the morning and watching the wildlife like the seals and bald eagles was a nice way to start the day. We played the board games provided and had a wonderful fire on the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this spot to my friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s cottage! The location is great, close to St Mary’s lake and a quick drive to Ganges. Louise was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. The cottage was peaceful, quiet and has lovely views. Great getaway on Saltspring Island.

Our stay at this cabin delivered on all our dreams for a gulf island stay. This is a well loved and lived in home with character and shows off all the small touches that you might not expect from an air bnb. It has a spectacular garden that is clearly the work of many years of dedication and no photos will really do it justice. Across the garden are different seating arrangements that let you chase the sun no matter what time of day you want to go out and catch a few rays. Off the front deck is a very active hummingbird feeder and super comfortable chaise. The central bathroom is really just as spectacular as the pictures would have you believe: almost worth the stay all on its own. The kitchen is well stocked and has surprisingly well seasoned cast iron pans and a griddle that made leisurely morning pancake breakfasts just that much easier and more enjoyable. We hope we have the chance to stay again!

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Stayed for a week and it felt like home away from home. Had everything we needed. Located in a quiet location with lots of hiking nearby. The cottage is bright, clean, roomy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our dog was particularly fond of the sun room where she could watch the deer on their morning visits. We hope to be back!

Great space, will definitely book again when visiting Nanaimo. Spacious and well-stocked. Had everything we needed. 20 min. walk to downtown and tucked away in a nice, peaceful neighborhood. Accessible being in the alleyway, so had our own dedicated parking spot and not on the main road (bonus if you have pets).

Lucy deserves 5 stars because she is very kind and welcoming. The garden cottage is hand-made and reflects a European touch! Low clearance entry room with corrugated plastic ceiling. Thus, cozy and natural lighting. Very nice sitting spot in the bedroom with a beautiful view. Rain shower style shower was perfect for me. Read the Wikipedia entry for Lily Point Preserve! Impressive! Just a few minutes away. Point Roberts is walkable and bicycle friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! Had everything we were looking for -- waterfront location and set up well for children. The location and windows looking out onto the bay, islands, Straight of Georgia and across to Mt. Baker were what we loved most. Saw a lot of wildlife. Steps down to the water were nice too. House was otherwise set up well and as described. Highly recommend this location.

This was one of my favourite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed! The photos do not do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our favourite part of this stay was the two border collies that followed us around we absolutely adored them. The skylight above the bed at night with the stars was unreal.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here! The space is small, cozy, and warm—perfect for a relaxing getaway for two. It felt super private, with our own entrance and outdoor area, which we really appreciated. The living room was a great spot to wind down with Netflix after a day of exploring. The location is also great, not too far from Duncan and other attractions.Overall, it was a peaceful little retreat that left us feeling refreshed. Thanks for having us!

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

Place was amazing. Instructions were easy to understand. Absolute gem of a location. Was very happy. Only issue was with communication but take that with a grain of salt as there was a funeral apparently so I can’t really complain. Otherwise 10 out of 10 and I wound highly highly recommend

We found this cute Airbnb just up the road from where our son was getting married. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was perfect.

Flavia and jim have an amazing piece of land, and make you feel right at home. We were free to explore the property. Hardest decision was which part we to hang out at next as there are so many options! They were very kind and even invited us to watch the last flight of a WW2 bomber with them and their friends. The nest was a great little spot with beautiful views and was very clean. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone.
