A very nice living space with a beautiful garden and views. Lots of space in the house with rooms with old fireplaces, a nice kitchen and lots of toys for the children, also in the garden. It is also a very interesting area with fine wines and of course cognac!

The house has a lot of charm and we had a good night there. There is nothing missing: towel, sheet, coffee and tea including the poitevine cakes offered by Isabelle😋. In short, everything was perfect.

Great week-long stay in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. The accommodation is very popular and very quiet. Marie-josephe is a very welcoming person. The accommodation is well equipped. The view of the swamp from the terrace allowed us to oberver the local wildlife. In short, we recommend +++

We had a great time in " the little house" which is small only in size and name! From our arrival, we found a great positive energy that carried us during our stay with an evening in the company of Cécile and Séverine who will remain for us a wonderful human encounter, full of laughter, caring discussions and a sharing of enriching experiences! Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

An amazing property in a peaceful location. Erica and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately and were on hand for any help we needed. The renovations are to a high standard and make for a comfortable and well appointed stay. The pool is massive. The covered outdoor areas are great for when the weather isn't behaving itself and the hot-tub is perfect to relax in. Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby, with La Rochelle and Bordeaux not too far away. Lots of "vide-greniers' in the area to visit on a Sunday when most other things are closed.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

A few fabulous days in this lovely home. The living room is large and bright, the decoration has been done with care and the cleanliness is impeccable. We were lucky enough to have very mild weather for a month of April and were therefore able to enjoy the beautiful exterior, well maintained and conducive to relaxation, the pool is a real plus. We felt so good at this place. Our son really enjoyed the little play area. The location of the accommodation is excellent, there is everything nearby while still being quiet. Very good communication with Marines. It's an address we keep to hopefully return someday.

Second stay at Turea's, always a pleasure to be hosted by Turea and Allan, flexibility in terms of schedules we arrived Wednesday around 2am, the gate was well open and Turea was very responsive to the messages I send her, the explanations were clear for our arrival at the accommodation. The cottage is still as quiet as 1 year ago a game of pétanque and a billiards table was made available to us. In conclusion, Turea and Allan, are made for this: A flexible welcome, quiet and discreet hosts, present when needed, a quiet, peaceful and super spacious environment! I would recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house provided us with everything we needed! It was very cosy, nicely decorated and clean! All kinds of equipment to cook, basics such as coffee and milk and other snacks and drinks were also available upon our arrival, we felt so welcome! The message on the blackboard was heart-warming;-). There were all kinds of extras such as a whole collection of DVDs and books, toys for kids all ages, ... The pool was magnificent, just big enough for a refreshing dive or just having fun in the water. The garden was also very nice, well equipped (and safe for kids!), the patio next to the barn very cosy and relaxing! Last but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to Lesley, the lovely house keeper, who provided us with everything we needed (and quickly!), she made us feel very welcome. We spent two nights at the blue arrow. This former fisherman's hut by the water totally seduced us. Singing birds, disconnection, nature … A very good time.

Cindy is a great host, responsive but at the same time discreet, she was perfect to respond to our requests. The little house is superb, in a very quiet setting, well maintained, well equipped, warm and very clean. We'd love to stay a bit! We hope to be back. Thanks again Cindy and see you soon!

Suitable for 1 or 2 nights for a family or more for two There is only one large room. The situation in relation to the futuroscope is ideal. Pets are allowed with the consent of the owner. There is a walking path 2 minutes walk away, that's perfect. Overall we had a nice stay.

Very pleasant stay. The place is peaceful, very clean and above all very well equipped: linens and towels, comfortable bedding, everything you need to accommodate a baby (2 umbrella beds, high chair, bath ring, multiple games including a slide that my 15-month-old son loved), various activities to please at all ages (raclette and barbecue machine, but also foosball, dartboard, board games, books, swing and a wooden cabin at the bottom of the garden, not to mention lamas, sheep and ducks that we took care to feed daily thanks to the loaves left by our hosts). And regarding the hosts Monique and Christian, we can only thank them as they are helpful and considerate. Christian told us the way to get to their place a week before we came. In short, a very nice place where everything is thought out to be at best (boots and K-way have helped us out), even if they can't predict the good weather yet...
