Monthly Rentals in Melton Constable

The Lodge is a quaint, quirky very compact cosy place to stay. Jan is so welcoming and makes lovely fruit cake as I sampled on arrival! Which was most welcome after a long drive. Will definitely return but maybe in the spring or summer. The road leading to the village is pretty dark and quite narrow in places but the surrounding countryside is beautiful especially with the autumn colours.

We were looking for a place to escape for NYE as we wanted somewhere in the country and quiet! Elaine’s annex was excellent, clean, and as described! Would recommend 😊

it was just as described. Very clean, TV, kitchen etc all excellent. lots to do around Briston. Very well-placed for the North Norfolk coast. Harriet was very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. Bernard

I can’t recommend this idyllic retreat highly enough! From the warm welcome upon our arrival when we were met by the drive and then the walk through the beautiful garden to the accommodation. The studio was perfect, the seating area ideal for cosy evenings in and breakfast. The bed was very comfy, the little kitchen cleverly laid out and with everything we needed. Alison and Sandy showed us round the studio, showing us what we needed to know regarding heating controls, tv remotes etc. As for the breakfast provisions, what a delicious array of choices for us to put together for morning repast and not forgetting the tasty croissants! After a hectic few months our stay here was just the peaceful and quiet tonic our spirits longed for. The location is ideal for exploring the North Norfolk coast and as we have fallen for the area we will be back at Chapel Piece soon again! Many thanks and lovely to meet you both!
