If you are looking for calm and nature, this is the place, pretty little village of 600 inhabitants. Martine is welcoming . The accommodation is pleasant, cozy and stocked with all the necessities , we had forgotten the towels and had the good surprise to find them available, the bedding is comfortable. The area is very beautiful. Upaix is close to a small town Laragne Monteglin where you will find all the useful shops and restaurants, we ate at Le Délicatessen and we recommend it. We couldn't eat in Upaix at Beau Soleil because you have to book in advance. We also advise you to visit the Citadel of Sisteron which is a 15-minute drive away. We plan to come back to this place to discover the Gorges de la Méouge.

Tayakout is a golden host! Caring, generous, she offers a very pleasant welcome in a living environment that is just as pleasant. The apartment is functional and full of charm, you feel at home there thanks to the warmth of the place and Tayakout. Finally, the environment is just as soothing… a small town above the Bâtie Neuve surrounded by forests, rivers and plenty of hiking trails to satisfy nature lovers! Finally, the view from the terrace of the mountains is exceptional and the apartment even has a small cozy and well-appointed garden with small table, deckchairs and darts games. A beautiful detached house, on two levels, in a charming village, close to the Méouge gorges and its Romanesque bridge. This is the 3-star gîte called "la petite maison". After Michelle's warm welcome, we were thrilled to discover the independent and newly renovated accommodation she made available to us. On the ground floor, separate toilet, a bathroom equipped with a pleasant walk-in shower and the only bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a large closet. Upstairs, a living room and large-screen TV, extended by a well-equipped kitchen and overlooking a very pleasant terrace. In the absence of shops in Antonaves, shopping can be done in Laragne-Montéglin, some 5 kilometers away while Sisteron is 15 km away. In summary, we had a great time at this peaceful retreat and its environment.
