Vacation rentals with a firepit in Merzig-Wadern

We stayed one night in this cozy little cottage – me, my wife, our daughter and two little grandchildren. The house was very clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We would like to highlight the warm hospitality of the hostess Hildegard – she was attentive and kind. We felt like at home. Thank you, Hildegard!

Very nice and quiet location. Rooms were clean and everything was prepared. Perfect for 7-8 people The only drawback was the Wi-Fi, but didn't break it down. Overall, we had a very nice stay and highly recommend. Thanks a bunch

We were only there for a few days but enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well equipped, and there is a large meadow in front of the house. Parking is also available. The contact with Jordan worked perfectly. We will be happy to come back :)

One of the best Airbnb experiences so far. Cute, cozy, cool and clean. :) Fireplace and bbq including, this was so nice! Location is perfect for a mix of cities and hiking around the area. Mark is a very nice host (his wife too) and they gave us great recommendations to do. The house was small but cosy, just perfect. Really feels like you're 'away' from everything in the woods. Would definitely come here again!

The cottage is protected in the back of a courtyard, very quiet and spacious. In the courtyard itself, a small cozy lounge and a small garden were available. In the cottage, everything is very spacious and stylishly furnished with a comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom... everything is great. From there you can visit the thermal bath in Mondorf and the spa gardens, restaurants are nearby and with the free public transport you can quickly get to Luxembourg City (great!), the Moselle or elsewhere. You can also ride your bike to Schengen, swimming lakes or Remich. A beautiful wine region. Seb and Cathy were great hosts, very accommodating, always responsive and helpful. Great people and it was very nice to meet them. And then there's Twenty, the Cocker Spaniel. A well-behaved, bright and nice guy we enjoyed playing with. It was a nice and relaxing stay... Thank you!

Very nice and quiet place with beautiful surroundings. We came with our dog for hikes and some rest in between, and this place was ideal for it.

Amandine and her partner were very friendly and helpful. We had a trailer with us and a safe parking spot was arranged. Super!

We were guests in Starkenburg over the Easter days. The apartment was very clean and top modern. We especially liked the incredible view, which is a dream both day and night! Very nice hosts, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful setting! Wonderfully soothing on the river. Walking opportunities from the apartment. Village itself very quiet with no facilities. Before that, drive to the next village (7 min). Recommended!

We booked the place for a business purpose so our visitor has an apartment close to the company. That was perfect. From Hetzerath, the bus connection to the IRT Föhren is well developed and even without your own car you can get there at any time. In the immediate vicinity of the property you can reach a supermarket, a bakery and a butcher's shop in a few minutes. The apartment itself has a private entrance and is super equipped. Thank you for this great place and the friendly and uncomplicated contact.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks during our wedding and honeymoon and had the best time. The hosts were friendly, thoughtful, and we will definitely be back. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and really did feel like home. They helped make it a trip that we’ll never forget.

We had a wonderful break in the chilled forest house of Torsten. Barbecued and eaten outside and listened to the birds. Simply pure nature and tranquility. Torsten is a wonderful host who knows what his guests need, who choose his forest house - relaxation, wellness, nature, ... The kitchen and also the outdoor kitchen are very well appointed.

The contact was incredibly friendly from booking to departure. She responded quickly to messages and was also spontaneously available by phone to facilitate the search for parking. A few hours before arrival, we were able to easily move our check-in forward - it doesn't get better. Upon arrival, someone also came out directly to show us the way. From front to back, she was very eager, be it cozy additional blankets, a phone call the next morning, whether we slept well or the great, small breakfast plate. Just great! It's not excluded that we will come again in the summer! At the beginning of March, it was a little too fresh - especially to be able to use the beautiful outdoor area properly.

Florian's house is a real treasure. In the middle of nature and incredibly beautifully decorated. The sauna and wood stove make it so special. You get exactly what's in the description. Those who have nothing to do with nature and the heating of stoves should rather look for something else. For us, it was just the thing. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time in Asbach with Florian! The apartment has a lot of charm and a very cozy atmosphere due to the furnishings and the fireplace. Florian was super nice and easy to reach. Our highlight was having lunch outside in the sun and making bread at the fire bowl in the evening. The dream looping hiking guide in the accommodation was great because there are many paths in the area that are all super signposted. The neighbors are all super friendly and accommodating.

We would describe Harald's place as a beautiful spot to go glamping, with the luxury of a normal roof, soft beds, a private shower and toilet and the option to cook. Absolutely beautiful area and Harald is very responsive and had some good suggestions for us to do around the area. There's a fire pit available where you can roast your meat above fire, when it's not raining. What we did not expect was the 40 fishermen at 6 AM who will stay around the cabin until 6PM, who use the public toilet right below the cabin. From the initial photos and location it wasn't clear that this was a fisherman's spot, and our son was looking forward to be able to swim close to where we sleep, which was only possible after 6PM. It was his idea to go camping, we didn't want to sleep in a tent so we settled in between :) Turned out our son had a different idea of camping so we left early. Still a lovely spot!
