Monthly Rentals in Mickfield

We booked The Tack room very last minute (the day before). We just needed a stop over for our family of 3 (plus dog), but this place was so much more than that. The little garden was so peaceful and secure so I could relax with my daughter, not having to worry what the dog might escape. I wouldn’t recommend the sofa bed being used for an adult as it wasn’t very comfortable (but we got round that by putting our daughter to bed in the main bedroom and then moving her once asleep which worked perfectly). Everything was clean, and Rick was so welcoming. We only stayed a night but really recommend if you want a relaxing beautiful escape.

Yem's cottage was the perfect countryside stay. Plenty of parking on the gated driveway and has beautiful views of the fields from the kitchen window and private garden. The cottage was a home from home and it was spotless throughout. Yem is a great host, very responsive and provided baby stair gates and a high chair. The coast is reachable within an hour too. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

This is a rather special place. it's like a retreat , stripped back of all unnecessary distractions. The telecommunications masts are a bit of a shock when you first draw near but once inside the house and garden you can't see any part of them. It's a place to be quiet and listen to the dawn chorus and watch as the sun casts different light on the bark of the silver birches...... We could go on! There's a nice restaurant at The Lion pub in the next village and good local walking. . we would highly reccomend this place. Didn't want to leave.

Personally, I loved this place as it had all I needed for a business trip away from home. Good nights sleep as it has a quiet neighbourhood, and all you the amenities within so that you can enjoy your stay. Parking the car a few steps from the door is very convenient. Internet is good, tv is good, furniture is comfortable. All in all, a home from home and so much better than most hotels have to offer! Thanks Lucy for being a great host :)
