House vacation rentals in Midlothian

Superbe maison avec beaucoup de charme que nous avons partagé entre amis golfeurs. Parfait pour rayonner vers Édimbourg et St Andrews. Avec le petit bourg de Ratho et le pub de Bridge Inn, c'était vraiment parfait. Je recommande.

Marie et sa maison sont très accueillantes. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Les produits de première nécessité mis à disposition sont très pratiques. La maison est très bien organisée pour que 4 adultes aient bien leurs intimités et leurs commodités. Notre arrivée tardive n’a posé aucun souci pour la remise des clés par notre hôtesse. Tout était parfait, jusqu’à l’emplacement qui nous permis de découvrir Édimbourg, Glasgow ….

A wonderful stay with 3 people staying. Great location, very close to bus stop, stations. Even Uber price is affordable to Edinburgh downtown area. Fiona is a great host, gave us a brief introduction about the house and the transportation while we arrived. Recommend the stay for 3-4 travelers.

Staying in Susan’s place was a dream! Firstly, she was incredibly friendly and so kind to us even before we arrived. She greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed. The space itself was super homey and clean, but also very fun and unique, definitely a great place to end our holiday! The location for us was perfect, it took a small drive to get to Edinburgh, but it was just far enough away that we were able to unplug after our busy days and get away from all the “city noise”. We will definitely be back to stay with Susan, cannot recommend her place enough!

Perfect place to stay to get away from the city, but close enough to have the city at your fingertips. Parking was so easy with the space next to the house. Plenty of room. Fantastic views and even a separate room with a bar. Will book again when I visit. Can't recommend enough. The host was extremely friendly and responsive.

We stayed at William's house over new year and it was perfect for all of us (7 people + baby). The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and huge. Very plush. The location is in a very nice area of Edinburgh (which our many taxi drivers would comment on) and the house is very grand. The main street & bus to the city is a 10 minute walk away, and a taxi/uber to the town is only a 10-15 min drive. William lives in the other side of the house but it is very private & quiet. Definitely recommend! Thanks for hosting us Australians & our extended family to celebrate Hogmanay together in Edinburgh (even though the street party & Fireworks were cancelled due to weather!)

Mistwood is an incredible place to stay. Filled with exquisite furnishings and stunning eclectic pieces of artwork. Spotlessly clean and everything we wished for in a home from home in Scotland. The addition of a beautiful outdoor hot tub was sheer bliss and provided a zen time in the garden filled with birdsong. This incredible home is dog friendly which meant our little Sophie could be with us in Scotland. The garden is filled with beautiful plants and shrubs and is totally doggy secure. We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The location is fantastic and only 20 minutes drive into Edinburgh. Jane and her co hosts were brilliant at making us feel so welcome and we would highly recommend a stay at this stunning property.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön - wie auf den Bildern zu sehen! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Edinburgh - wunderbar, um von dort aus in die Stadt oder mit dem Mietwagen in die Natur zu fahren. Unser Gastgeber war immer sehr gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Ein Nachteil war (für uns) die Auffahrt: Durch den Schotteruntergrund sind die Reifen bei der Einfahrt durchgedreht und bei der Ausfahrt ist der Wagen trotz Bremsen weiter hinab getuscht. Das war etwas nervenaufreibend. Insgesamt würden wir diese Unterkunft aber in jedem Fall empfehlen!

Amazing place! Sarah's house is beautiful, very pleasant in a great neighborhood. Extremely clean and complete house. We spent incredible days with my family, we would have loved to have stayed longer. About Sarah, very proactive and available whenever I needed! I will definitely be back in the future.
