Welcome to your tiny retreat minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock! If you enjoy being surrounded by nature, in a gorgeous new tiny log cabin, on a private lot, this is the spot for you! This cabin boasts comfortable accommodations, gorgeous screened-in porch, full-size kitchen, fire pit, and many family-friendly touches such as games and books galore! There is a pond within walking distance and acres of forest to explore.
“This place smells wonderful. It’s got that legitimate fresh pine scent that can only come from being built from actual wood. It’s cozy and bright, and despite its smallish layout, it had everything I needed, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The bed is extremely comfortable and has many different pillows of varying firmness levels. The setting is magnificent. It’s surrounded by trees for acres on each side. I was able to go for a walk for ten minutes in each direction before I encountered other properties. At night, you can hear frogs on a nearby pond, and in the morning, birds hold actual conversations that you can follow on the sweet little screened in porch. The owners are friendly and responsive. When the AC was giving me trouble, a helpful representative walked me through how to fix it via text. Some useful tips for fellow travelers: if the auto-lock is struggling to open just push the door in a little bit, bring your own shower soap, gently take down the wind chimes if you really need quiet, and don’t be alarmed if the garbage cans make noise in the night: it’s just raccoons! I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone. I arrived stressed out and sad and left revitalized and calm. I received excellent service, and felt cared for during a difficult time i my life.”
One 30' x 12' room, freestanding boathouse on beautiful, private, Lake Lanier, South Carolina. Spartan accommodations for two active people who plan to spend their time enjoying Equestrian events, cool nearby small towns like Tryon and Saluda, NC and Landrum, SC, local waterfalls, and just want a soft bed at the end of the day. You want to know that the steps down to the boathouse are quite steep, and are not differently-abled accessible. Please note we have a lake-fed hot shower and sink.
“This place was the perfect adventure retreat for my wife and I. A rustic, bohemian, one room-hovering-just-above a mountain lake retreat. The small touches of fresh flowers, s’mores, bottled water and robe are testaments to the hospitality of the hosts. We turned the devices off(they will not work any way) and played in and on the water often. We brought along our own paddle board for the fun but the hosts did have two kayaks available for use. We experienced day time temps into the mid 80’s and the space, as advertised, does get warm during the day but that is when it’s time to be on/in the water or dock or out for an adventure in the Tryon/Saluda/Landrum area. Once the sun gets to late afternoon the boat house finds shade and the cooling process can begin. Make sure the fans are going and the place is opened up. While there was the AC unit available we did not feel the need to use it, instead opting for the open windows and whirring ceiling fans. We did not bring a fury friend with us but it is evident that the hosts love dogs and will do as much to make their stay as wonderful as yours. Already missing lounging in the hammock as dusk settled and peaceful daybreak paddles across the glassy water. We hope to be back again soon.”
We are 4 Miles from Lake Lure. We have Mountain Veiws with zip linning, tubing, Kayaking and Tryon Equistrian Center within 15 minutes away. Private Road and very quiet. Beautiful Log Cabin in the foothills of North Carolina. Organic Farm fenced.
“We enjoyed our stay at Tesha’s place. The cabin was so clean and cozy! We appreciated all the thoughtful touches like the fresh flowers, the coffee and the breakfast foods provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in the future.”
