The Coon Cage

Part of Grand Spruce Lodge with 3 cabins, great fishing, roaming chickens, water trampoline park, solar-powered slide, lily pad, kayak, canoe, paddleboard, and badminton. One Cozy one bedroom cabin located on beautiful Winnipeg River and reasonable distance to downtown Kenora and to the TransCanada Highway. Fully equipped/furnished cabin, including wifi/satellite TV, all you have to bring is your personal effects. Simple and basic style. It is peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. The owners house and one other cabin is on the property. The cabin is in a rural area, but not secluded. Overall laid back atmosphere in a little piece of paradise.

We have a nice one bedroom apartment on the top of our house. We are located right in the downtown area, just blocks away from the main street, banks and the harbour front. We are one block away from the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, the Post Office and the mall (No Frills). Two blocks from the Cinema, many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Not 10 minutes to the lovely Kenora Harbour Front and the Whitecap Pavilion. Take in all the events and a simple walk home.

Open your window and breathe in the fresh air. Watch an amazing sunrise and listen to the loons & songbirds. This cabin is part of a unique, peaceful, small campground. Great alternative to a hotel! Newly finished lakefront cottage. 650 sq ft. Has full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (queen bed), living and dining-room areas with private deck overlooking the lake. Accommodates 2 very nicely. Private deck off cottage with table and BBQ. Dock and beach area sometimes shared with owner. Canoe and paddle boards for guest use

The suite is located beneath our home and features a private entrance and private outdoor areas with exceptional views of the Winnipeg River/Gunn Lake. Hiking and ski trails are just a few steps away. Excellent fishing nearby if that’s your pleasure
