Hotel vacation rentals in Mission Bay

We loved having plenty of room and being so close to downtown and Little Italy -- though we couldn't go walking as much as we wanted due to the rainy weather. It is RIGHT under the flight path for planes coming in to the airport, (but we live under the flight path at home so we're used to the noise). Planes don't fly over at night - but they do start early (6:30?) and they are loud. Oddly, some wind chimes disturbed our sleep much more than the planes, but hopefully the owners have removed them by now. (I know...they're supposed to be soothing, but..it was windy!) The full kitchen was great - only complaint was the microwave was on a bottom shelf so we had to sit on the floor to use it (we're old!) - never did figure out programming it. The furnishings are a little more "eclectic" than we expected for the price, and some things need repair (bathroom towel bar) and the light switches were confusing. But it was very spacious and it was great having an off-street parking space!!

We had the best time at Sonia’s! I got a bit lost as far as the unit number but she responded immediately and helped! They left the stair light on at night which we thought was so nice for when we would get home from wedding festivities late at night. It was very clean, and just what we needed for a 4 day quick trip!

Cute little Airbnb in the heart of the Gaslamp neighborhood. I felt like a local with a street entrance between a taco shop and souvenir store. The keyless entrance was clutch — one less thing to carry around or remember to bring. Wish the stairs weren’t so steep, but that’s part of the historic atmosphere. But highly recommend packing light! Big wheelie bags are doable, but exhausting.

The stay was great. We had a good time, and there were no issues.

This is a great airbnb for planning a trip around downtown SD or gas lamp. The location is excellent, across the street from Tacos El Gordo and within a block of all the hottest bars and nightclubs. The location is spacious enough to comfortably fit 3 couples. The living/kitchen area is elongated provides enough hang out space. Another huge perk is the built in parking pass they provide which is for the parking garage 2 blocks away (3 min walk). This allows for easy in n out privileges. Ben and Mayra are extremely courteous and gracious hosts. They went out of their way to help me during my stay. The price point is totally reasonable. I have hearted this Airbnb for all my future SD trips! Thank you!!!

This was my first time in a hostel. We got the private suite which was great that they had that option. Such a fun vibe overall. People were relaxed & friendly & the area was the perfect little beach town to visit.

I was completely impressed by this AirBnB! It was right down the road from the San Diego Convention Center, so I could walk to the conference I was attending in about 15 minutes. The apartment is right in the middle of a lively walking street that is very much alive at night. I had no issues with loud noises coming from the street, and the apartment felt very safe. It had a well-equipped kitchen, a clean restroom, and lots of space. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I were to come to San Diego!
