Vacation rentals with a firepit in Mohawk Valley

Our February stay at Camp Blantons, Old Forge was fantastic! Bridget was a superb host and extremely helpful. The house was very clean and well-equipped. There is a spacious entryway which was great for all of our winter gear. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room which has many oversized windows for viewing nature. The wood burning stove in the living room added to the warmth of the house. There are three bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. In addition, there are two full bathrooms which made it perfect for two couples. Finally, the property is beautiful, it was a winter wonderland surrounded by tall pines and there is a large pond that we snowshoed around. We enjoyed watching the deer on the snowy landscape. The area is quiet and just a short drive to town. We highly recommend staying at Camp Blantons for your next visit to the Adirondacks!

The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Extra blankets and privacy shades downstairs would be the only change we would make. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and everything was clean and comfortable. We would recommend this property!

It was a good stay! I think what was offered for the price was excellent. It had everything I was looking for.

Vernon & Merrie were wonderful hosts and were always very responsive before and during our stay. The house is a perfect fit for 2 families. It is very spacious and we felt like we had 2 homes in 1 with 2 full kitchens. This was a huge plus as our stay was over Thanksgiving and the extra space with 2 refrigerators, multiple ovens, etc… all came in handy. The house is very well stocked and it’s clear the hosts put a great deal of care and thought into creating a great vacation for their guests. Highly recommend!

Great location for snowmobiling. House very clean, plenty of parking for my crew cab truck with 24' trailer.

I was sad to have tested positive for COVID as we were about to set off, but didn’t want to spoil the trip for our group. But the group really loved the house, it was clean and very spacious, had everything that was needed to feel right at home. The view was spectacular, and it was in a relaxing secluded spot. The beds were so comfortable! Judy and John were very welcoming, nice, readily available, lovely to spend time with. It was the perfect stay for a large group with the cabin also.

Beautiful home and location! The home sits right on Tully lake and the view is perfect. The hosts are very thoughtful, responsive, and keep the home in pristine condition! My family and I really enjoyed this home and we will definitely be back for another stay. We highly recommend this home for any vacation or getaway!

“An exceptional retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to actually cook, and the thoughtful design extends to the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed using the grill. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—attentive and welcoming—and the location is perfect, right in the heart of the entertainment district. I stayed here with my 13-year-old twins, and we found it to be incredibly quiet and peaceful. We’re truly grateful for such a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end stay.

We enjoyed our quiet stay. We did a hike that was recommended in the guidebook and visited the used book store that was also recommended, but otherwise stayed in. Couches and beds were comfortable and we found everything that we needed in the kitchen.

We felt very comfortable at Arnaud's place. The apartment was exactly as described. Everything I needed in the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom/living room was magically there, not to mention the fresh eggs. Both Arnaud and Dave were very responsive to all of my questions and friendly. We loved the hot tub as much as our puppy loved the beautiful and fully fenced in yard. My 7yo daughter loved scootering down street to an ice cream place, as well as to a park with a playground. I wished I had my bike on me since Finger Lakes Trail was just a short walk away. It was a great stay.

Theresa was an amazing host, she clearly communicated with us along the way, and made sure we had our privacy & provided the upmost comfort. Her space was well kept and full of considerate touches to facilitate a relaxing stay, the subtleties go a long way. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow, shared a few stories of skiing adventures & loved the friendly visits from Ben. The views were picturesque to boot, we definitely plan to come stay in other seasons.

We had a wonderful stay on Gemma’s property and felt right at home. The kids loved feeding the farm animals — a total highlight!! Gemma generously provided us with an array of breakfast items, which really made for lovely mornings. We would absolutely return!

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

Had an amazing time at this adorable cabin! We happened to be visiting during a winter storm which made the cabin even more charming. Jackie was wonderful and offered for us to change the reservation due to the storm but we decided to go ahead as planned and had a great time. The place was so clean, cozy and the views were amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a really nice time at the cabin this past week. It had a very cozy feel and the open floor plan helped us to feel more together and grow even closer over the course of the trip. I particularly enjoyed the large windows that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful snow as we ate. The food in Old Forge and Inlet was quite good, even for the off-season which we were pleasantly surprised by. The house also provided a great home base for many hikes in the area.

We really enjoyed our time at Black Bear Cabin. The quaint little cabin was just what we needed for our little getaway. It was private and peaceful with lots to do in the area. We went hiking and explored the little lake side towns. We highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug for a few days. We will find an excuse to come back and stay at the black Bear Cabin again in the future! Thanks Bonnie

Amazing location and the Host Brenda makes it even better! She is really friendly and responds immediately! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I will never forget the truly remarkable hospitality.

Had a great 5 day stay at Jim’s cabin with my 2 large dogs. The backyard fence was sturdy and high enough that I felt comfortable letting my dogs off leash, but I still monitored them the whole time. Everything was as described in the listing; the only surprise was how steep and narrow the stairs to the bedroom loft were. Also, the curtains over the windows are not light-blocking curtains. Found 2 nice state parks to walk the dogs in each day, about 30 minute drives away from the cabin. Would recommend and hopefully stay again soon.

What a cute little cabin! It had everything that we needed for a fun filled weekend of snowmobiling. We will be staying there again.

A return visit to Norman's cabin in the woods outside of Indian Lake. It is an incredibly comfortable space with a well equipped kitchen and many amenities. It was an ideal place with easy access to ski areas and great for hunkering down during a snow storm. Thanks!
