There were five of us staying over the weekend. An absolutely great, clean and spacious apartment! We were very warmly welcomed, and everything important was shown and explained to us. We were recommended a cafe that offers great cake. In the morning, thanks to the sun and the great weather, we were able to have breakfast outside in the garden or the sitting area. It was really a very nice stay. Maybe we'll be able to come back next year. It was really very nice!

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

A nice house with plenty of space, in a pleasant area. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the fact that all of the cupboards and drawers had little labels on to show what was inside - a handy little touch. The dining area is very comfortable with a large, sturdy table. We stayed for a couple of nights during a period of very warm weather and really appreciated the fact that it was easy to open the very large windows and get a nice breeze blowing through. The only slight drawbacks were a slow-draining shower, a lack of comfy living room furniture (one nice chair - the other two items are IKEA pull-out beds with hard backs), the very heavy door on the dishwasher (the door tension is broken, so it opened without any resistance and nearly flattened the dog!) and a missing garden gate so the dogs had to be kept on their leashes when in the garden, but these are very minor things when compared to the positive points about the accommodation. I would happily stay there again.

It is pure relaxation. We would come back and have absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were there with the family (6 adults and 4 children) and felt super comfortable. The rooms are simple but cozy, the kitchen well equipped and also everything else we needed. Since it is an old house, you should keep in mind that it is very audible and creaks and squeaks in many places - but that did not bother us further. The outdoor area with the chickens and many vehicles and toys for the children was particularly nice for us. A beautiful forest is directly accessible from the property.

We were two couples staying for two nights and the whole house suited our needs very well. The house is a little bit rural, but it is still close major cities (Frankfurt, Cologne, etc.). It is a very charming house and looks as it appears in the pictures.

Had a very nice stay, enjoyed it! The kindness, the atmosphere, the great amenities, the location, the extensive breakfast. It was GREAT in one word and we recommend this beautiful B&B to everyone.

Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

Staying with Barbara and Frank was really great. We felt very comfortable, had everything we needed and recovered well. Thank you for the hospitality. The apartment was really great. The garden is so well maintained and a great environment for walking and jogging.

I was traveling for work and was able to feel at home in Susann's apartment. The highway can be reached quickly and you can always find a parking space at the house, the surroundings were great for extended gas laps in the afternoon. In the kitchen you have everything you need and especially the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

This was by far my best Airbnb stay so far – because the hosts were just incredibly warm, warm, and straightforward. You immediately felt welcome, almost like with friends. Thank you for this special experience!

The house was amazing. Was as described in the photo. Marcus was very flexible with check in and checkout timing. The supermarkets were walkable distance from the accomodation. Its located in the quiet location and very close to netherlands border. The house had everything we needed and lots of space for a family of 4. Thankyou Marcus for having us. It was a pleasure staying at your place, I would highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay in the beautiful, tasteful cottage of Judith and Volker. The cottage and amenities are exactly as described in the listing. I only found the walk to the sparkling clean (and also very tasteful) bathroom a plus, because you walk through a beautiful garden. And last but not least: Judith and Volker are incredibly welcoming and helpful, absolutely Superhosts!

The studio is smart with all sorts of interesting decorative items which make it feel like a real home. It was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed - including a lovely welcome pack. Annette was very helpful and provided information on the local area. The WiFi worked well and it was good to have English TV stations. We used the good local bus service to reach nearby places. We enjoyed local walks and some further afield in the Maashaggen and beautiful Reindiersmeer. Nijmegen is well worth a visit. The war museum and war cemetery in Overloon are good to visit - look for the Overloon War Chronicles website to read the stories of many of the WW2 British servicemen buried there - in Dutch and English. We ate out at Zowyzo in Venray and Boompjes in Overloon - both enjoyable if very different. We also sampled Clevers delicious ice cream and Goesting in Venray is worth a visit for a huge choice of interesting beers.

We stayed with 4 adults and a 1 year old baby and were pleasantly surprised. the house is complete and meets all your wishes! we are very satisfied. The house is functional and very nice. Nothing to criticize. We recommend it!
