Apartment vacation rentals in Monte Testaccio

Paolo really went above and beyond, taking the time after we had arrived to tell us about some of the lesser known local sites to visit and providing recommendations for restaurants and cafes to visit as well as directions of how to get there from the apartment. He also shared two interactive maps he had created which highlighted tourist spots and dining places we could visit during our stay. He was really helpful in giving us clear, easy to follow directions to the metro and was happy to answer any questions we had. The apartment was lovely - very clean, was exactly as described and it comfortably housed five adults for our three night stay. The apartment was only a short walk from the Colosseum and had a supermarket practically right next door to the building which was super handy. We had a really great time and I would 100% recommend Paolo and his apartment to anyone visiting Rome - you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent place to relax after the long day out of the town. Peaceful neighborhood, few restaurants at walking distance. Short walk to the metro station. Very spacious with three large bedrooms and two large bad rooms. The place was spotless and kitchen is big enough for seven of us. Edoardo let us stay little longer after our flight was delayed. If you travel with large group or family this is the place for you.

Stefano and his brother are exceptional hosts, always available when needed yet respectful of our privacy, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. Their home, nestled on a peaceful hill, provided a serene escape while still being conveniently located with easy access to Rome’s ring road, making it a great base for exploring the city and beyond. The house itself was impeccably equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless long stay. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended.

very nice stay, roomy apartment with enough beds and baths for our group. Well appointed kitchen. We had a small issue with WiFi but the host took steps immediately to resolve and they did a great job. Location is walkable to a nice area and to the metro , very useful for getting around Rom easily. We would definitely stay here again!

We were very well hosted and the explanations were very clear. We were able to interact easily together at check-in as well as during the stay if needed. The apartment was as described, clean and located next to the train station which allowed easy access to the city center. We were delighted with this stay and the kindness of our host.

We loved our stay at Julie's! The house has spacious 4 rooms with bathroom inside. The rooms are exactly as per picture. The location is ideal to visit the city and enjoy nice restaurants at night. Julie is a super kind host, always responsive and friendly who gave us clear instructions for check in and check out and helped us a lot with any questions. We highly recommend the place for a lovely vacanza a Roma :)

Riccardo and Irene have been incredibly helpful and responsive. The place was comfy, tidy and clean. Public transports were nearby and connections were easy.

We spent 3 days in the apartament with our 1,5 years baby and truly recommend it. City center, but quiet and amazing restaurants near by. Perluigi was very helpful and nice, thank you!☺️

We loved staying in this apartment. We had 6 adults and were very comfortable. Each couple had own bedroom and bathroom which was so nice. This place is right next door to a supermarket, which I felt the prices were cheaper than others. Apartment is also right next to cafe’s, gelato cafe, souvenir shops, and leather shops. About a half a block down from the apartment is a main road where you will find stores and restaurants galore. It was all so convenient. The apartment is fairly close to tourist sites. It usually took us about 10-15 minutes to get down to Trevi fountain or the main tourist areas. Although it is close you still do ALOT of walking to see all the spots. My only suggestion for this place would be to add another couch for more comfortable seating. After a long day, when you returned to apartment and wanted to sit around and visit you had to sit on kitchen chairs. Another thing that would have been nice is a little binder with dining spots that are good to eat at.

This week at Elena's was great. A beautiful smiling person, kind, attentive, always attentive and available for her hosts. The apartment was in a great location, ”near the Vatican, clean and quiet. We had a beautiful week, full of stories, surprises and great discoveries! We'll be back with pleasure and without hesitation!

We enjoyed our stay. We were met by someone and given a quick tour. The location was in a good neighborhood. We had easy access to the buses which we used to get all over Rome. The apartment was comfortable and clean. We were even provided with coffee and a Moka pot. We were a 15 to 20 minute bus or taxi ride from sites such the Coliseum and Borghese gardens

Amazing apartment in a great location. Situated in Northern Rome, it's close to excellent coffee places and restaurants. Also easy to travel around the city from the apartment. Maria was an excellent host. Highly recommended!

Location fantastic. Next to tram and trendy delicious restaurants. Building is super high tech with security guard access. Balcony has fantastic view. Perfection. Overnight evening parking easy and free. Sundays amazing flea market at your doorstep! 💎❤️

We loved our stay at this apartment in Rome! The location was fantastic — in a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to the bus system and metro. It was close to many major sites, or just a short ride away by public transportation. The apartment was comfortable and made a perfect home base for exploring the city. The apartment was beautiful and in a very good location. It was convenient to everything. The host was very responsive. We had several flight delays and arrived 10 hours after expected. The driver was a bit confused but Daniel met us within 2 minutes at the door to take us in and get us settled. Wonderful after such a long travel day.

My family of 5 spent three nights at Mica and Andrea's place. It was the perfect location to all the main attractions in Rome. We came earlier than the check in time and were allowed to leave our luggage while the staff prepared the apartment for our stay. There are plenty of windows and natural light so we felt it was very cozy. We were also given an extensive list of restaurants recommendations all of our questions were promptly responded to. This place really made our Rome stay so awesome. I highly recommend!

Short but extremely positive experience. Very nice apartment, clean and with many comforts. The owners are accurate and kind.

Francesca is a fantastic host. Always aware of if we needed anything. Very clean everything. The location could not be better, the Vatican 5-10 min walk. Supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, all next door. Very well connected by bus to go to the historic center. We facilitated a mini caravan at a great price for the 5 that took us and brought us from the airport. It took care that we had things for breakfast as we arrived a holiday and a late film.

Highly recommend this place! It was perfect for our family of 5 (ages 18, 15 and 12). The place has a ton of character. It is modern without losing the charm and antiquity of Roma. It provides all the practical elements you need...towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, dark shades for sleeping in, good water pressure, and very clean. The location is wonderful. We took a taxi only twice, one to our meet-up for the Vatican tour and one to the airport when we left. Otherwise, we walked. If you don't want to walk, there is a taxi area a block from the apt. The host greeted us outside at our cab when we arrived. He was genuinely excited to meet us. He showed us the apartment and took extra time to sit down with us and provide great maps of the area and key sites we might want to visit that aligned with the amount of time we were staying. He had positive energy and made the kids feel welcome. We were all very impressed with our host and with the place.

Great location with a bus stop just steps away. Each bedroom having its own bathrooms makes this great for multiple families. Host Mariastella was excellent in accommodating our needs. Would definitely recommend!
