Cottage vacation rentals in Montpezat-de-Quercy

We stayed here to help determine exactly where in France we would want to move. Cédric and his family were amazingly welcoming and helpful! They are courteous and kind. Even though they are on site, we rarely saw or heard them, allowing us privacy, but still available when we needed help. We are still learning French and they were very patient with our language barrier and we were always able to communicate. The house is on top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful setting. It is so calm and peaceful. Nearby towns offer any amenity needed and we were an easy drive to larger cities like Toulouse and Albi. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for tranquility.

A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

We had a lovely stay with friends! Audrey and Michel are very welcoming and friendly hosts. They took the time to explain and show us around the house upon arrival. The cottage is very beautiful, very clean and functional. It has everything for children, the environment is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Also, the area is really beautiful. We'll be back:)

We had a great time with the family, a real break from disconnection. Being in the countryside, you should of course expect to cohabit with a few insects, like bed bugs. The proximity to Muriel and Nicolas, whose house is just behind the cottage, is a real plus: they are available in case of need. We would recommend this cottage without hesitation!

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. A wonderful stay, very nice domain with lots of animation, cozy gites, a host who leaves you in freedom but also very accessible and approachable with golden tips but also always interested in how things are really going. we would really recommend it to anyone both families with young children and older children. It is a beautiful area to explore and Anne Sophie, her husband Pascale and daughter Lily are incredibly attentive and sweet. Fantastic to be there!

A dream stay in a heavenly environment! Charming house with all modern comforts, a very large garden, out of sight with a beautiful pool. A pleasant village (Limogne) 5 minutes away for shopping and a great starting point for all walks and visits all around. Very beautiful area, peaceful and rich in discoveries. Excellent communication with Birdie the owner. We highly recommend it!

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

The perfect balance. We enjoyed a very peaceful long weekend. There is lots to do in the area, medieval villages, shops, outdoor activities and our favourite was wine tasting at the neighbours vineyard. However, the gîte also had everything you need to just relax with the views. We travelled with our baby and a travel cot and high chair were provided. It was very good value for money. We can also recommend the catering service which was simple, fresh, delicious and delivered on time without difficulty. We would return with pleasure.

We had a wonderful stay at Annecy and Philippe's place! In addition to having a beautiful property, they are very welcoming, generous and friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great time at the artist's house. The setting is idyllic, the house restored with attention to detail and a lot of taste. The garden, the house and its decoration are really full of charm, probably the prettiest Airbnb we were able to stay in. Sasha and Mark (and Gwen the dog) whom we met the day after we arrived, were very welcoming, the communication went very well and they seemed very available in case of any problems. Their house is close but the artist's house keeps all its privacy. The surroundings, whether nature or small villages are great to explore!

A real favorite for this stay in the countryside, close to Cordes-sur-Ciel. Away from impersonal homes, this charming home breathes life: books everywhere, two adorable cats who come by to say hello, a large peaceful garden with a river and its small bridge at the bottom of the grounds… The atmosphere is warm and soothing. Thank you to our discreet and thoughtful host for opening the doors of this corner of paradise to us. You feel at home there, better.

Beautiful quiet house with a large garden very well maintained with many trees of different species. Large, spacious and equipped kitchen, good bedding, convenient bathroom with a closet to put your things down. we have breakfast and dinner outside it was very nice. Beatrice and Benedict were amazing hosts, very sweet and helpful throughout the whole trip. We loved chatting with them and playing with their dogs. The home is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice, such a peaceful and relaxing place to be, the sunsets were incredible. It is very well situated with quaint 20-60 minute drives to different towns/cities like Cordes-sue-ciel, Albi, Gaillac, and Toulouse. If you have a rental car, take the time to drive around and see the sights!
