My accommodation is on the heights of a village in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, a department where the air is considered the purest in France. This exceptional environment offers multiple mountain activities. You will appreciate my pleasantly furnished accommodation, for its picturesque side, stone barn located in lush greenery with mountain views. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and families with children.
“nothing to say, just perfect! Thank you for this warm welcome, although late; even Leo the cat was there :) L'Oree d'Alba is a cozy, warm and romantic place with intellectual and spiritual touches. Chalais perfect for a romantic getaway which I am sure are beautiful. Our stay was more than short because our flight was advanced and therefore we spent only a short night there. Because of the corona virus, the measures taken by the ministry of health of Israel turned upside down what should have been our honeymoon. The bed is very very comfortable, the place clean, and tidy. Thank you again for everything, we embrace you very much, hoping to see you again soon. Lea and Gil”
Renovated 4 star Holiday house (Gîte) for 6 people in the grounds of an 18th century château, 1h15 min from Toulouse, at the heart of the Pyrénées National Park.
“Pete’s place was perfect for our short stay in the French Pyrenees. There are some great walks to do and some amazing sights to see all within a short drive of the house. The house had three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a good size bath (important for families with young ones) and plenty of hot water when it was needed. The downstairs communal kitchen, dining and living space was a great area for us all to relax and unwind at the end of each day. Our young son loved the area outside and used the slide and swings lots. He also loved watching the sheep and deers in the fields next to us everyday. Pete was a great host and offered us lots of really useful help and advice to make sure we saw the best of the local area. We couldn’t recommend Pete’s place enough.”
This is a lovely 3 bedroomed newly refurbished house in the heart of the charming village of Moulis. In the new kitchen you'll find everything you need to cook and if the evening is cool you can relax by the wood-burning stove. Catch the sun on the south-facing balcony overlooking the street with the Char mountain peeking over the rooftops. Stroll along the beautiful river running through the middle of village or hike the hills and mountains all around for those after more of a challenge.
“We've been at Louise in an extended stay and everything is perfect. The space is great and functional. Louise has been supplying us with wood for the wood stove, which is a very nice touch to the space. I strongly recommend her gite and hospitality. We are currently in Louise's cottage, which is perfect. Super clean and functional, with a wood stove and Louise provided us with all the wood we needed. There are, of course, electric heaters that work very well, but a wood stove adds an extra touch. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Couserans. We will surely come back and I recommend its space to all.”
