The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

We've renovated the Craney House into a comfortable place with character—good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We affectionately call it our "tree house" because of the jungle that used to obscure the house. We love Otter Creek for its quieter access to what Acadia has to offer—close to the Park Loop Rd, carriage and hiking trails, but it's also only about 5 miles away from Bar Harbor and 10 miles to Seal Harbor.
