Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Scott - Arleta, Portland

Well laid out, lovely space. Room for lots of people. Lovely kitchen. Easy access to downtown (walking distance). Good outdoor space for kids to play. I definitely recommend this place. You can't beat it for the price.

This place is an absolute gem! The host, Uladzimir, is so responsive. this home is pristine clean and beautifully updated. It is in a great location. We can't believe what a great deal we got on this home. We felt right at home and everything that we needed was provided. We loved the updated kitchen, the hot tub, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is amazing and the master bathroom is incredible. We hope to be able to stay here next year when we come to visit. It's an absolute amazing place to stay!

This place was just what we needed... three bedrooms for the adults and twin beds for the boys. The kitchen was quite well stocked and the couch was comfy. Enough parking in the driveway. We walked to and from the Whole Foods. And a shorter walk to restuarants, bars, and pizza places. Very satisfied.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this home, plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely look forward to staying here another time in the future.

great place to stay with toddlers and babies. beds were comfortable, everything no worked smoothly. lights being dimmable also helped with putting the kids/babies to sleep. never felt cramped. never had trouble finding parking, usually right up front, and walkable coffee shops were great. also the temperature was always perfect, which really makes a difference in airbnbs. never too hot or too cold.

We loved staying at Annalisa’s home. It has a relaxed, cozy, lived-in vibe. It’s in a great location near lots of St Johns restaurants and across the street from a coffee shop. We are foodies, so we shopped at the grocery store less than a mile away. We cooked several large meals and found the utensils and appliances in the kitchen were adequate for our purpose. The wifi and tv worked flawlessly, the showers were hot and had plenty of water pressure. The hosts were so kind to let us check-in early and check-out was worry-free.

We had a great time and appreciated the ability to stay in a comfortable house that was large enough for our group. The neighborhood was great.

From the first photo of the Kristy's Airbnb, I knew this was the place for us. We were traveling to Portland for our granddaughter's first birthday party. With us were our son and daughter-in-law, and their 2 children - a two-year old and a five-month old infant. Kristy's house was perfect! The toy room was a delight for our grandson, and the home had all of the necessities for the baby. The kitchen was exceptionally furnished, and the house was extremely comfortable and spacious. The backyard play area was a source of never-ending delight for our two-year old grandson. I have stayed at many airbnbs, but Kristy's place was one of the nicest I've stayed at, and yes, I would book it again for next year's birthday party in Portland. Kristy was a very responsive host, and I highly recommend staying at her Airbnb, especially if you have small children. You will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay at Ed and Kym’s and would happily stay again. It was so nice to have access to 2 pack n plays and a bunch of fun toys for our young family. Ed and Kym were very friendly and accommodating. We loved being able to walk to Laurelhurst Park.

It was great very roomy apartment very clean large beds separate rooms and while much wasn’t able to be walked to it was very quite and a very quick drive anywhere in the city

Leslie’s place was the best! Her instructions were so clear, we found the place super easily. It was clean, comfy, and wonderful! The bed was luxurious, the location was perfect—cute neighborhood, close to tons of cute shops and restaurants, quick drive from the airport! Leslie was so helpful and checked in on us to make sure we were warm and cozy with the snowstorm! Could not find a better place or host. Would 1000% stay again!

I had a great experience during my four-night stay at Debra and David's home. The house was truly wonderful, making me feel completely at home. It was evident that the house was filled with beautiful memories. Debra was very helpful and attentive to her guests. All the essential amenities, along with some additional comforts, were readily available—everything you could possibly need was provided.

Sierra's place is cute and has everything needed for a budget conscious, convenient and clean stay for 1-2 people. The place is very easy to walk, bus or drive/park. I loved the cute garden in the front and flowers on the table. The host is very open to communication but allows privacy. A cozy little place.

Kristin’s place was clean and comfortable. She was helpful whenever I needed it. Daytime noise from upstairs didn’t bother me. I brought earplugs for sleeping. I would stay here again

Oceana is a lovely host. Her place is immaculate and very welcoming. We enjoyed being across from the park where we regularly walked. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

What a great location convenient to the airport and walkable to many places. We highly recommend and we will definately consider this rental for future Portland trips! Jeff was a great host!

Becky's place is gorgeous! The layout is so comfortable. Great kitchen, open layout, it makes it easy to spend time with family even if everyone is doing something slightly different. We loved the kitchen. We loved that big dining room table. We loved how comfy the couches are. Two good sized bedrooms, laundry! If anything, this place is so nice my family didn't want to leave and do touristy stuff in the rainy Portland weather!

We spent a month at Lillians condo while waiting for our home to be available. The condos design has one of the best use of spaces I have seen. It has a very open floor plan , two fairly large rooms and a very well stocked kitchen. Also loved the location...walkable to Market of choice and some great restaurants close by. Lillian was a gracious and responsive host all through the rental.

This Air BB was a homey home away from home. We didn’t spend a great amount there due to us being busy going hiking and enjoying Portland’s scenery, but after a long day of hiking my little family had good comfortable bed to sleep on and best of all a washer and dryer for our wet clothes during the hike. Overall a great place not too far from the airport and many hiking locations. Will stay again if we have another opportunity trip here in the future.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here. The beds were somewhat comfortable, one more stiff than the other. which is not something im used to but not a deal breaker. Guests be aware that a train nearby is heard every morning around 6 am for several minutes. The kitchen is very tiny, I underestimated the size shown in the pictures. Parking was a bit frustrating as the guest using the 4th parking space kept parking really close to my vehicle. I tried to be careful with my property as well as others. Its a minor inconvenience that I cant hold the host accountable for but its good to know for future guests. Overall, not a bad place. I would stay again if given the chance to.

Very clean and comfortable space! Awesome location near local running trails and parks. It was very near to OHSU, for any traveling folks needing proximity to the hospital. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place for a short-term stay. The location has a lot to offer - near buses, great coffee shop, Whole Foods, restaurants. Great area for walking - can easily walk to Alberta Arts District. Local neighborhood lovely for walking. Park close by. Comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with cookware. Host very accessible and responsive.

Great spot in an awesome location! Had a fun guys weekend and everything with the house worked out great. We cooked both evenings and had all that was needed to do so. Nice porch to chill and watch the local Portland wildlife 😜 Will definitely stay here again!

The place was exactly as described and the host was very responsive when I reached out. The convenience of having a full sized fridge with options to heat up food saved quite a bit of money on going out to eat. I also took full advantage of the nearby food carts since there were so many options. As described in the listing, if someone has rented the above townhouse you will hear them moving around, but it’s nothing unbearable. I stayed a week and mostly used the space as a place to rest my head, shower, and change. The nearby gorge is full of waterfalls and is a must-see. I loved the privacy.
