Monthly Rentals in Mountfield

Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings, and ideally situated for exploration of the Sussex and Kent coastline and surrounding area. The Dairy was clean and tidy, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely return to explore all the places we didn't have time to visit!

Beautiful apartment looking directly at Battle Abby. Everything was there that was needed. Was a cosy place that was beautifully decorated and felt very much at home. The only problem we had was not a result of the host but bad timing, there were roadworks being done at nighttime right in front of the apartment and parking was extremely limited due to this. We had to park on the opposite side of the town and with my wife being disabled made things more difficult. But other than that we were very happy with our stay.

We had the most wonderful time at Butter's Cottage. It was simply perfect. The cottage is charming and quirky, the grounds are huge and the area beautiful and peaceful. We couldn't have hoped for better. Valerie is a superb and very welcoming host, and she really goes several extra miles for her guests. For example, we were there for Christmas and on our arrival we were delighted to find a Christmas tree! complete with lights and decorations. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed, and we were fully able to cook full-scale roast meals for four with no problem at all. In fact, the whole cottage is very well equipped with much attention to detail. There's lots to see and do nearby, but we hardly managed to tear ourselves away from the cottage, so perfect and peaceful and cosy was it for our Christmas break. We will be returners, no question of that.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful and peaceful place in the countryside—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Cutleries, plates etc were all clean. There was a dishwasher so it saved us a lot of time on cleaning. Very nice walk behind through fields and river. Harriette was very responsive & check in was very easy! We would love to come back soon! Thanks for your hospitality Harriette!
