Guesthouse Shin is located one street in from Miyajima's Machiya-dori. 　As you pass through the entrance's curtain, you are greeted by a stylish bamboo wall reminiscent of a Kyoto tengeya, guiding you through a courtyard with stepping stones.The courtyard also has a beautiful balance of white marble and moss, which contributes to the calm atmosphere.Glass doors are arranged so that the courtyard can be seen from the living room. 　The building is accessible only to guests through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone.From the outside, it looks like an ordinary private house, but once you step inside, the atmosphere changes, leading to the charm of the inn.The previous owner had a long-standing passion for gardening and had a diverse range of hobbies.However, as mentioned at the beginning, I did not intend to start an inn at first, so there is no bath facility (there is a shower).However, the nearby inn can be used as an outdoor bath.The first floor is a living room, and the second floor has two adjoining Japanese-style rooms that serve as bedrooms, allowing up to 6 people to stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone-paved letter in the middle of the moss.The garden was created by a gardener with a playful spirit, and it is the origin of the inn's name.They say they want to warmly welcome guests and help them relax and enjoy their stay.

Aki no Kyoto Takehara/One day one group limited Edo period old folk house

Takehara City is located halfway between Wu and Onomichi, along the coast. The inn is a two-story, detached, and courtyard built in the Edo period in the center of the "Keihara Town Preservation District (National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District)", a 13-minute walk from J R Takehara Station and a 20-minute drive from Hiroshima Airport. In the morning and evening, there is almost no traffic, and you can spend a quiet time like you have traveled back in time to the town of the Edo period. The large free space on the second floor is a large space with luxurious ceiling beams, and the windows overlook the streets of the town.From the room facing the courtyard on the second floor, you can see Fu Mingkaku, which is also a landmark of Takehara. In an art renovated space with an emphasis on organic materials, you can enjoy only one art in various places. It is the only property around Shin Onomichi Station. The house is a traditional Japanese house and you will be staying in the main house. Limited to one group per day, can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). It is close to the Shinkansen, so there is noise and vibration every time you pass.It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It's quiet because it doesn't run from 11:40 PM to 6:20 AM) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms.Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed.
