Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Welcome to Stanley on the edge of the Victorian Alps. The Stanley Peony Farm features two self contained guest cottages, quaint, peaceful and very much unique for the area. This cottage, named Alice Harding after the well known peony cultivar, is set amongst an established garden with oaks, Japanese maples, liquid ambers, claret ash and tulip trees. The setting provides a great place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying all that this area has to offer.

Our cottages are self contained with hot tubs for the cold days, or use for cold plunge to cool off. Policy of no children allowed is in place. This is an adults retreat. Cellar Door on site open Wednesday to Saturdays.
