Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nagaoka

It was spacious, clean, and a great place to stay. If I get a chance, I will use it again!

Yoshi's place was beautiful and I loved the amazing onsen the most. The view of the forest was great and I enjoyed cooking while looking out the window. The walk to town is only 15 minutes but there are a few restaurants closer by as well. I was also easily able to work from there. thank you for having me.

It was my second stay. Great response as last time As soon as you ask, you'll get a quick response, and you can quickly resolve the issue, so you can rest assured In addition, the inn is a historic building with a large number of rooms, making it suitable for large groups. There were futons for the number of people (including beds), bath towels, and hand towels, and the room was kept at the right temperature, and I had a pleasant stay from that time I checked in. A lot of kitchen utensils are also provided, so you can prepare meals smoothly There is also a bath, but this time I used a hot spring facility called "Kaido-no-Yu", which is a few minutes away by car. It's nice to get into the hot springs right after skiing and snowboarding It was 5 cars, but I was able to park at the last minute I'd love to use it again Thank you.

There are many hills around, and it freezes in the winter, so it is better to have not only studless tires, but also chains.

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

Our stay at Mayuko's place was amazing. The house is autenthic and spacious, on a quiet and beautiful location. The garden is very pretty with a river next to it. It's perfect for walking around. We felt at home. The Nagano prefecture is one of the best and we would be happy to stay again! Mayuko is a very nice host and very responsive. Recommend.

This place is great. Not many foreigners go to Kusatsu Onsen in the first place so the staff being friendly is great. The location is remote (about a 20 minute walk from town) and the walk gets old after about a day considering how many hills there are. I knew this when I booked the place, though. Kusatsu is worth it no matter the walk regardless. The only negative thing that I have to say about this place is that it's cold and I think the kerosene heater broke on night 2. Either that or we're just morons. Either way, fixing the room heaters should be a priority. This minor inonvenience was forgiven when the staff took us to the bus station in a snowstorm, saving us a long and brutal walk. Very kind of them.

We had a great stay! Base camp was a short walk from the town with restaurants and a few places to shop. It was also a short walk to the slopes. We had everything we needed. Jason accommodated holding our luggage until we had to leave. He was quick to communicate. Thank you for a smooth experience!

the house is located near the yuzawa station and gala yuzawa station. near plentiful of delicious restaurants and with great views of the surrounding mountain. we are a family of 6 and enjoyed the house good for 20plus people. will definitely go back again in the near future.

Our group of 6 adults loved our stay at Birch Cabin. Would certainly recommend having a car, despite proximity to skii slopes, as the walk looked arduous. In our case, with a car, we had a great time with no issues. The place was as great as it looked.

Exceptional Stay and Outstanding Host! I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place was special. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. Every detail has been thought of, making it feel like a home away from home. The space is spacious, cozy, and filled with thoughtful amenities, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor space was a great bonus, offering a peaceful retreat. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, offering excellent recommendations for local spots to visit, and even providing thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and a welcome basket. Communication was seamless, and they were always available to answer any questions without being intrusive.

Our experience as guests of Akio and Yoshiko was indescribable. Mrs. Yoshiko is of a touching kindness: she welcomed us to Nikko station and gave us many tips on how to get around and what to visit. He always made us find things for breakfast (fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, croissants, etc.). On the last day he even let us visit the temples by holding our luggage and then taking us back to the station to take the train back to Tokyo in time. The typical Japanese house is in a quiet and calm area, surrounded by nature and surrounded by mountains. Spaces are clean and well-maintained, provided with towels, slippers, body soap, shampoo, etc. Honestly, it was one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had. I would definitely go back.

Kenji was incredibly nice. He made sure we knew everything about the region, from hiking to amusement parks, even advising us on how and when to go from one place to another. He was very welcoming and helpful. It was way above my expectations and I'm really grateful he was the one in charge of me and my wife. He's part of what made our trip in Nikko so great. The ski resort is right in front of you, and there is also a drying room, which is convenient and comfortable, so it will be your second time using it.There was heavy snow this year, but the road to the building was also removed, so I was relieved. Lloyd, the host, was flexible with check-in, checkout, and shopping at the supermarket, which was helpful.The kids love it.

House stands a little wild between two canals, but you look out into the countryside and have morning sun. Central location, simple but well-kept house.
