Our listing is a quiet, spacious, whole-floor unit with an elevator in the heart of Kyoto, in the sought-after Kawaramachi area❤️ We recommend that it can comfortably accommodate between 4 and 10 people! We finalized the following details for our room in March 2026. From now on, the experience will be even better than before! We carefully selected distinctive Japanese materials, The main wall of the living room TV area features a premium woven-pattern wallpaper with a designer aesthetic. Located in Japan’s largest and world-renowned wool textile production area, the entire space exudes a warm and cozy homey atmosphere. For this special bathroom renovation, we used herringbone-patterned woven tiles crafted with the exquisite Gifu Centennial Tile technique from Gifu Prefecture, Japan. These tiles create a dynamic three-dimensional effect as light and shadow play upon them. Mino-yaki ceramics have a history spanning approximately 1,300 years, and the tile industry has been producing these highly intricate tiles for over a century. We’ve also carefully upgraded the Dyson hairdryer, as well as the Dyson bladeless fan, the Kettle from a Japanese design brand, the brand-new Daikin air conditioner (both heating and cooling) in the living room, and the best shower head in Japan! The flooring is sourced from Asahi Wood, a century-old Japanese company, and is of the highest quality—three times more expensive than products made in China. We also carefully select the bedding. We worked hard for two years to find this quiet and elevator building, and then spent another year negotiating with the owner to convince him to buy this building, which is really run by Japanese people, so you can experience 100% of Japanese daily life! We carefully decorated more than a dozen rooms in this building with different features and styles. Each room's theme is also handmade and painted by us. It takes about a month to open a new room. We are also very happy that our three Airbnb accounts have received more than 300 5-star Superhost reviews, and because we are also very careful in choosing bedding, you can see in the reviews that many customers say our beds are very comfortable!
