This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

Lovely home in a quiet, walkable neighborhood across the river from downtown Natchitoches. The two bedrooms with the Jack and Jill bathroom worked really well for our small family of 3. The decor felt nice and homey, exactly the way you'd prepare a home if you had guests staying. The location is about a block from downtown; a nice walk across the scenic bridge. We were in Louisiana to attend a wedding, and can I just say bless you for having a full-length mirror? Shanda is an incredibly friendly and communicative host. The home is an excellent value if you prefer staying in a house over a hotel. I highly recommend this guesthouse to small groups who are comfortable sharing a single bathroom.

We stayed here for my son’s wedding and it was perfect! Our favorite part is the back patio with all the beautiful views of the water. The house was clean, kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you need and location feels So homey and safe. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t often leave a review, or want to necessarily go back to a specific Airbnb. But I would absolutely stay again sometime. All ages had a good time. The kayaks were fun. We fished, grilled, played darts and such. It did rain pretty hard for part of our stay but we hung out under the covered areas until it passed over. It was very relaxing out there. Plenty of places to sleep. Lots of nice little details. If you are looking for a river camp experience look no farther. This is the spot.

Cane River Cabin

We had a blast at Lonnie’s place. Cane River Lake is fun to cruise around and fish on. The area is nice with lots of history and friendly people. My youngest daughter is 4 and disabled (paraplegic) and she had a great time fishing and boating here. She also loved the swing which was perfect for her to lay on her belly to swing. It was also very relaxing for us as well. The boat ramp on the property was perfect for my little boat. I’m going to bring my older kids here hopefully this summer. Lonnie was a great host and made sure everything was going smoothly.

Excellent property! Had 10 men stay for a fishing trip and we had plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay again. The bathrooms were top notch, excellent walk in showers with great water pressure, light up mirrors. Large common area to cook, visit, watch tv, and play pool. Great screened in back porch for grilling and hanging out! The ping pong table was a nice touch as well. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying here! It’s a peaceful cabin, you can see the lake from the back porch, super clean area and an awesome host who makes everything so easy! They have EVERYTHING you need in the cabin; lots of room, comfy furniture + beds, towels, pots/pans and outdoor cooking equipment. We’ll definitely be staying again.
