“Oh. My. Goodness. Bill's Travis Heights Hideaway was so perfect for our staycation. We live in east Austin and wanted a change of scenery (since we can't really travel right now) and a pool to lounge by for a few days. The Hideaway is modern, clean, comfortable, and so welcoming. The energy of the entire property is luxurious and chill at the same time. I would recommend this guest house to those who want the convenience of hip, central Austin (easy access to everything) and the privacy of a residence (vs a hotel). Seriously, it was truly a satisfying stay. Oh, and the decor is effing rad! ;)”

“We had a great time here! We just needed a place to get away for a couple of nights, and this AirBnB was pretty awesome. It’s pretty small but has a nice bathroom and little kitchenette. A lot of reviews mentioned how comfy the bed was, but we actually had issues with the middle of the bed sinking in, so we ended up crunched in the middle. We’re newlyweds though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal for us, but it did make it kind of difficult to sleep. The area is really nice and it’s right around the corner from a coffee shop that Anna and Chad recommended called Greater Goods. The AirBnB is in the back yard, and it was really easy to navigate. The yard is nicely shaded and they have a couple of dogs, chickens and children running around, all of which kept us pretty entertained while having coffee in the porch in the morning. I think the only thing we were disappointed in was that the porch was kind of dirty and uncomfortable. We saw the porch in the pictures and got excited because that’s our ideal hang out spot, especially since we couldn’t really go out to explore much because of quarantine, but the seating was just uncomfortable and dusty. Otherwise, we had a really nice time and the hosts were very sweet! Overall, this is definitely 5 star AirBnB!”
Remember the Alamo, thanks to the flag which offsets the cowhide coverings in the Texas-size lounge. There are leather European love seats too, while Pottery Barn bed sets, West Elm linens, and one of a kind gun barrel night stands are bedroom highlights inside the 700 square foot Austin Texas Cottage! The Austin Texas House is in a Fantastic location. Located off South Congress Avenue in the heart of the SoCo Shopping and Entertainment District. Unwind on the shaded front porch or side deck and enjoy the views of the 100-year old oak trees and Bouldin Creek. Hosting travelers since 2011.
“Great place, great host, and great location! The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Chris made check-in and check-out very easy and was quick in responding. He professionally balanced meeting us and being available but also giving us enough space to ourselves. We didn't need to move our vehicle anymore since the minute we arrived. We just walked around to places in the neighborhood. His place was exactly what we were looking for!”
