“Oh. My. Goodness. Bill's Travis Heights Hideaway was so perfect for our staycation. We live in east Austin and wanted a change of scenery (since we can't really travel right now) and a pool to lounge by for a few days. The Hideaway is modern, clean, comfortable, and so welcoming. The energy of the entire property is luxurious and chill at the same time. I would recommend this guest house to those who want the convenience of hip, central Austin (easy access to everything) and the privacy of a residence (vs a hotel). Seriously, it was truly a satisfying stay. Oh, and the decor is effing rad! ;)”

“What a gem of a place on the east side of Austin. Incredibly comfy bed, the sweetest hosts that truly have thought of everything and a quiet, tucked-away feel you want but close to everything you’d like. Perfect for a couple! Will absolutely stay here again if given the chance.”
Lofted craftsman cottage in the heart of central east Austin. Located less than a mile from UT and 1.5 miles to downtown. The cottage has an open and comfortable vibe with natural light against the custom woodwork, hardwood floors, and vaulted pine ceilings. From the Austin Historic Landmark Commission: Originally built by the Calcasieu Lumber Company of Austin in 1930, Calcasieu cottages have a signature Romantic Tudor Revival style, with steeply pitched hipped roofs. The cottages represent a uniquely Austin manifestation of an architectural style that is found nowhere else in the country.
“Brad's place was one of my favorite Airbnbs that I've ever stayed in. It has such a comfortable and cozy vibe and is located in a laid-back, accessible part of town. Brad was supper accommodating and easy to communicate with--he even left me a bottle of champagne for my birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. Everything was super clean and the space has a lot of character. Highly recommend!”
