The beautiful accommodation of Paul Jud is combined with an older farm, which is rather secluded and surrounded by forest and meadow with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquility, as leisure there are many sights and sports opportunities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer (King of the Pre-Alps). If the weather is nice, you can enjoy a fantastic view to Lake Constance. The studio is wheelchair accessible and infinitely variable.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The vacation rental is below the village of Amden. The farmer's family also lives in the same house. For the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (garbage). However, we make an effort, and take this into account as much as possible. We have cats, dog and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book along, cost CHF 30.

Our Hüsli is located in the middle of nature, quiet and on the Alpstein-Wanderweg In the garden there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off.
