Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Walkers Cottage, Home away from Home

This Newly renovated cottage is situated in the beautiful Mountains over looking the Walensee, with spectacular views of the Churfirsten. Transport is recommended , but its just a 10min walk down Oberterzen, where you find the cable car to go up to Flumserberg ski resort. (Ski in or out, only when there is enough snow) Or a 5 min drive down to Unterterzen where there is great swimming in Summer, other Restaurants, Supermarket, Bank, Post office, Train station, etc. We have a no pet policy

Pleasant newly renovated 3-room apartment with new kitchen, bathroom, large living room with a great view. Private seating area with fire bowl. Parking. Wifi is provided and the surrounding area is child friendly. The Obertoggenburg region is ideal for hiking holidays with Klangweg, various cable cars (e.g. Säntis / Chäserugg). In winter, there are various ski resorts, some of which have family-friendly offers. The upper apartment is occupied by our junior.

In just 13 minutes, you can take the PostBus to the nearest ski resort. Beautiful hikes can be made from the front door. Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We'll be happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.

The ski resorts of Chäserrugg and Wildhaus can be reached in 5 minutes by car.
