Boat vacation rentals in New England

We wanted to try staying on a boat for this vacation. It was large enough for our family of 5. The location was amazing. We walked everywhere. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms and Jim and Deb took care of everything right away. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying on Kai, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, Justin, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The sailboat itself was beautiful and offered all the comforts we could ask for. The deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views of the surrounding marina. Waking up to the sound of the water was a unique experience. Justin provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and must-see sightseeing locations, which enhanced our stay. His knowledge of the area and his passion for sailing made the experience even more special. Whether you’re looking to relax on deck, explore the surrounding area, or simply enjoy the novelty of staying on a sailboat, this Airbnb is a top-notch choice! What a unique experience! We really enjoyed our stay on the boat with Elena and her husband. They were very helpful and kind. The included breakfast and coffee in the morning was a nice touch too. The boat is comfortable and the cabins are well equipped. The transfer boat from the dock was prompt and easy to access. All in all we had a great weekend and were grateful for this special place to stay!

I can not express how much I loved my stay on Neville's boat. First, let me say, this is an older boat BUT the pictures are accurate. This boat has so much charm and the master bed is more comfortable than my bed at home. The marina community is super friendly and I just loved staying in this environment. I've been renting houses every year for my birthday and I've never had a host go above and beyond to make sure my stay and birthday became everything I had hoped for. THANK YOU NEVILLE!!!! I look forward to exploring your other priorities.

Boat Tel was a wonderful and unique experience. The yacht is located at the mouth of the Niantic River at a small marina with a nice mix of charter and private vessels. The marina is adjacent to three different restaurants all within earshot of the boat. Niantic village is close by with a beautiful boardwalk that looks out on Niantic Bay. The host, Elizabeth and family did a stupendous job of making sure we had a pleasant stay. In addition to operating Boat Tel, they run the marina and charter fishing trips. We had the opportunity to spend time and share stories with our boat neighbor, Dave who had tons of insight on the waterfront and surrounding areas. While it was a busy marina with active nightlife nearby, we did not find this to be disruptive in the least. Beautiful sunsets and top notch seafood - highly recommended to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing and scenic experience!

Great host. Cool boat. Hidden fees with the water taxi service costing roughly $40 every trip to/from the boat. No hot showers on boat so that was a trip to shore each time.

What an amazing experience. The photos and information are exactly as Sequoia laid out in the profile and documents. It was lovely getting to know more about Sequoia and it was a beautiful way to stay on Martha’s Vineyard.

What a wonderful place to stay for the Boston marathon! Close to everything including restaurants and an easy walk around and water taxis close too! The boat was super clean with a few hang out areas. Sherrie met us and explained it all! Clear communication and so easy! Hope to be able to come again!

Terrific stay for a 4 person friends weekend in the city . Would highly recommend to others as a unique alternative to hotel!

I was very happy with our stay. Space is VERY limited, but this is understandable, as you are on a boat. It is ideal for a short stay. The neighborhood is perfect with plenty of things to do. Parking can be a challenge.

John was there ready and waiting (even though we were late) to show us patiently around the yacht - and what an incredible vessel this is. You cannot believe you are just minutes away from the crowds and noise of New York City - it is so peaceful. The yacht is very spacious indeed - no less than four seating areas, two en-suite bedrooms (1 with a double bed) and a decent sized kitchen. We had to force ourselves to leave at times. WIFI, on-board phone and a huge fridge are just part of what makes this a great choice. With shops, buses, subway, deli's & supermarkets just 5 minutes away, this is the perfect retreat; I've been to NYC many times and this will now be my 'go-to' place to stay in future, no hesitation. For a two-bedroom, peaceful base in Manhattan, you will not find anything better GUARANTEED. In one word? PERFECT.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay on the boat. It was such a cool experience and Chad was so helpful and informative. We were pleased with how quiet it was and peaceful, nice break from the hustle of the city, yet you’re right in the mix. We will certainly come back!

My family stayed with Sequoia for two nights and really enjoyed it. The boat is beautiful and quite large (60 feet) and it's lovely to fall asleep to the waves. Highly recommend!
