A cosy apartment, in a converted barn. At the top of a traditional farm track (unpaved surface - see house rules) Apartment is part of the original farm buildings with the owner living next door. The farm is situated 1/2 mile away from the nearest village that has 2 pubs, bus stops and a train station (Manchester - Buxton). The Apartment is ideally placed for walking, with a path leading towards Lyme Park (1hr), and a path leading towards the neighbouring village of Whaley Bridge. (40 min).

It is one of the oldest buildings in New Mills and I'm lead to believe from my history lessons in school that this stoney building housed the cotton spinners from the mills back in the late 1700s!
