Peter's place is THE perfect stay for a couple (plus dog) planning a visit to Rockland County. The cottage is extremely clean and incredibly cozy. The surroundings are beautiful, with the property well set back from the road and bordering Harriman State Park. Suffern and its restaurants aren't far and there's easy access to the Palisades Parkway to go anywhere else nearby. I grew up in the county and visit my parents on a regular basis. Any time I can't stay at their home, Peter's place will be my go-to from now on.

Liz was great and super responsive! Only one issue when we were there, which was that the steps were icy when we arrived (which was due to the weather, not Liz..) As soon as I sent a message it IMMEDIATELY got taken care of and the rest of the stay was great! Place was as advertised, neighborhood was quiet and perfect for where we wanted to be. The water cooler (with hot and cold water) was a big hit with my family and we appreciated all the homey touches! Super comfortable stay.

Beautiful fall getaway. I could not ask for better lakefront views. The cottage is just like the pictures and has all the amenities. Robert had great local recommendations and brought us homemade cookies. We are looking forward to returning again in the future.

We had a great stay at Loraine's, we enjoyed everything about their place and property. It was a great getaway, we were able to explore their land and ski nearby, then warm up by their wood burning stove. Loraine was very hospitable and replies right away if you should have any questions. We will definitely be back...our dog already misses their property too!

This bungalow was a magical place to spend an autumn weekend visiting family and the beautiful Hudson valley area. We enjoyed morning walks around the pond with our pup and our coffee. Wish we had time to use the fire pit! Hammocks and bed was comfy, shower and kitchen were clean and lovely! Thanks so much a for a great stay! Would certainly recommend!

I celebrated my birthday at this spot! This is one of my favorite locations. I’ve been to thus far.

John was a perfect host! Friendly, responsive and made us feel welcome. I took my 9 year old son and we had a great time fishing off the dock and kayaking. The kitchenette is lacking if you want to cook any meals but it didn’t matter in our case. Absolutely beautiful location!

Spending a night at the hobbit house was a beautiful way to spend Valentine’s Day. We loved it.

My husband and I stayed at Rebecca's for one night while visiting a nearby ecovillage. It was a cozy place to sleep on a winter night, especially given got hit with a bad cold during our visit! I was grateful for the heaters, tea, and extra blankets.

Awesome place to stay. Very close to the main town and lake. Also close to hiking and wineries. Margaret was very friendly and responsive as well.

Absolutely amazing AirBnB and host. William's retreat was spectacular. When we first pulled in I thought it was much closer to the house than expected, but you have complete privacy with windows on three sides all facing away from the house. We never saw anyone else and had complete serenity. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, with robes and slippers and a beautiful shower when back inside. The space is extremely comfortable and the bed was the best we've ever slept in in an AirBnB. The house has incredible amenities -- everything you need in the kitchen, blankets on the couch, walking sticks for hikes, a backpack for a picnic, a closet full of replenishments, and a bottle of wine! I honestly cannot wait to stay here again. The view is incredible and we spent a ton of time just standing in the kitchen gazing out at nature. Thank you for a great and relaxing stay!

We had an amazing stay at Kristin and Dave’s cottage and cannot wait to return. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and supremely comfortable. Both Kristin and Dave were very responsive, extremely helpful, and provided great instructions and assistance. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The outdoor space was such a nice option, and the porch and pool were so nice to relax in. We wholeheartedly recommend the cottage!

we had such a nice stay at this chalet! we would definitely stay here again if we come back to snowboard at Windham Mountain thank you so much for the wonderful time and location! The fireplace was very cozy. The TV was stocked with all the streaming services and the kitchen was perfect.

My friend and I were in town for a wedding and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! It's on a main street but super quiet. Everything was easy with check in and out and the place is honestly better than the photos, just super comfortable and charming. Very nice beds, towels, thoughtful touches like coffee and wine.

Lilly’s place is perfect! My husband and a crew member stayed here for the week and are returning for multiple weeks to come. It’s local to a job site. They are on. This place was comfortable and clean and very accommodating for what they were looking for. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Jonathan’s place. He was proactive and flexible with our late check in time which I really appreciated. The apartment was exactly as described/in the photos, peaceful, and very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again!

We had a wonderful time at the Equestrian Suite! The location is beautiful and the unit itself is very cozy. Meeting the horses and donkeys was a lovely added touch. Hope to return!

Fantastic place for a weekend getaway! Gail is a lovely host and very responsive. You have one room as shown in the picture, and a separate bathroom with a shower, towels, and toilets. It's a 20 second walk away from the main room. We visited during autumn and the trees were beautiful. You can use a grill and fireplace, as well as a boat on the small lake. Can highly recommend!

John and Molly's place was fantastic. A lot of space located near everything. Would definitely stay again.

Upon entry, my architect husband said "Cute Cottage; Susan you did it again." Plenty of room for a couple in their mid-seventies, and a Millennial daughter. The cottage is very well insulated such that I didn't have to run the heat except for fifteen minutes at bedtime in mid-October, yet there is a big south-facing sliding door in each of the rooms where the sun and moon shines through. Beautiful woodland falls away from the cottage and small patio beyond the sliding doors, and moonlight is magic on all the leaves. If we had more time we would have investigated the many books in the shelving. We will find excuses for coming back to the area and will stay here again.

We loved the cottage. If anything it was even cuter in person than in the pictures. Communication was perfect and the place was very well thought out. We enjoyed our stay, I’d recommend it and come back here in the future!
