The Shack - a renovated hundred year old chalet on a quiet lane close to Mumbles cricket club, 100 m away from the cliff top path that goes from Limeslade beach to Langland Bay. It is a lovely, beachy, quirky, coastal space that is perfect on the inside and work-in-progress on the outside!! A great base for Mumbles and The Gower. With a kingsize bed covered in base price we can also sleep two others - in the second bedroom -on a comfy pull-out daybed (an extra charge of £ 10 guest/night).
“The Shack is much better than the name would have you believe. It’s finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Helen is a wonderful host with a very warm welcome and is on hand for anything you may need. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and would love to spend more time there to follow the many suggestions Helen offered for places to eat and visit. Mark particularly enjoyed the wood-burner and accompanying marshmallows!”

“Very good place to stay in Swansea. Good location nearby the city centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. The communication with a Mike prior our arrival and during our stay was good and simple. Mike’s house is very nice. Nice and clean bedroom and private bathroom, and also a kitchenette space is available. Mike and Kay were great hosts, always available to help.”
A beautiful, light-filled contemporary space, annexed to our magical 18th century traditional Welsh farmhouse. Situated in one of Gower's secret places, off the beaten track, idyllically quiet yet within minutes of amazing beaches and countryside.
“This was our first time using Airbnb and therefore we were a little dubious of how things would work out but we could not have been more wrong! From the moment of booking right through to arrival everything was perfect. Directions were spot on and the description of the accommodation was exactly as described, perfect! The generous welcome touches of crumpets, welsh cakes, milk, orange juice were wonderful and the gift of a bottle of Prosecco too was a delightful surprise, Catrin had remembered it was our Wedding Anniversary from the earlier communications we had. Perfect location to explore anywhere in Gower, which we did. The added benefit of extra towels and a picnic blanket came in handy, things we hadn’t thought of packing but were provided! Thoroughly recommended that if you are coming to Gower, stay here, you’ll love it!”
