Short distance to good beaches and Skagen is also an option. Aalborg, Fårup Sommerland and the North Sea are at a distance of 30-45 minutes. 'Ålejern' is a more than 100 year old farmhouse, located on the outskirts of Staun — A cozy little village with its own harbour, playground, shelters and beautiful nature. Nearby are Nibe, which among other things houses Denmark's Best Ice House, and Løgstør, which with its cozy harbor, with restaurants, museum and beach is worth a visit.
