Welcome to Wallaby Views. Our 12acre property overlooks farmland and has uninterrupted views of Lake King. We have a small menagerie of animals including varieties of wallabies, kangaroos, turtles, reptiles, birds, poo the emu and mans best friend, Alice. We are centrally located to the Gippsland Lakes and Beaches, Metung Village, Paynesville, Bruthen and the East Gippsland Rail Trail. Bairnsdale CBD is only 11km away and its a short 25min drive to Lakes Entrance and the iconic Footbridge.
“Lisa and Phil’s place is set in a rural setting with beautiful views away from the crowds. The extremely well maintained property is perfectly located centrally within an easy drive to so many great spots- Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale (~13 min) Metung, Bruthen, wineries etc. There is nothing you look for whilst staying here- everything you could want is supplied. Great WiFi and big tv ( we brought our Apple TV for Netflix) They have a range of animals for viewing and you can pat their very cute wallaby. A perfect setting to have a relaxing stay in or venture out to enjoy local wineries and attractions.”
The unit is fully self contained and ideal for couples. It is situated on a block of land behind the main house. Spacious parking available Only a 5 minute drive from picturesque Metung. The livingroom has a couch which can be made up as a second bed.
“Gitta’s AirBnb is perfect for a one or two night stay for road trippers passing through. It is modern, clean, and cozy. It’s situated separately from her home on the property so it really does feel like a private oasis. The towel warmer in the washroom was a nice added touch. And the view of the moon and stars was just the icing on the cake!”
My place is close to The Gippsland Lakes, only a five minute walk to the Lake, suitable for swimming, or walking along the shore on a well maintained track. Close by, you will find parks, great views, restaurants and the beach. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the outdoors space and, the neighborhood.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. As it is set back from the street, the only noise to wake you in the morning will be the birds chirping.
“Great location to explore the Gippsland lakes which is a massive expanse of water. Bonus having great access to Raymond island to wonder at the Koala habitat close up ...”
